Active Ingredients Nowadays active ingredients (or cosmeceuticals) are the essence of many skin care products turning them from simple formulas to effective, functional, drug-like products. Typically, such ingredients include vitamins, botanicals, enzymes, peptides, and offer various functions like anti-wrinkle and anti-aging effects, soothing and anti-inflammatory effects, skin-lightening, and skin regenerating effects. A predominant group of active ingredients include anti-aging ingredients. In general, they slow down degenerative processes as they occur in the aging skin, and at the same time stimulate regenerative processes including: production of collagen, prevention of water loss, replenishing the skin with natural lipids, maintenance of the skin cell homeostasis, and prevention of oxidant degeneration.

Description: Natural polysaccharide (sugar) with immune-stimulating properties and is derived from mushroom. It is a 'protect and repair' molecule as it increases the skin's natural self-protecting capabilities and also accelerates skin recovery. Description: High-purity extract from the Swiss alpine flower Edelweiss. Active ingredients: bisabolane, sitosterol, tannin, chlorogenic acid, apigenin-7-glucoside, luteolin, luteolin-4-glucoside. Very high radical scavenging activity. Clear dark brown liquid, faint plant odor. Easily water-soluble. CAS# 391900-47-3, 56-81-5. INCI Name: Leontopodium alpinum extract. Snake Peptide Description: Synthetic tripeptide that mimics the effect of the venom of the Temple Viper. Reduces the contraction frequency of skin muscle cells thereby decreasing expression lines.
