LibreOffice Calc does not have a Data Table function like MS Excel. However, the same result can be achieved by using ‘Multiple Operations’ function available in the Data tab. Process of doing Sensitivity Analysis: a. List down the data given to you and calculate the value of dependent variable for the base case of independent variable/s. Eg: If you want to see the impact of change in growth rate on Revenues of a company. You will list down the given data and calculate the Revenues for next year, as follows:

b. Create a table for Sensitivity analysis in a similar fashion as we did in MS excel, by changing values of independent variables in rows and columns. However, unlike MS Excel, you do not need to mention the Base Case in the table. Your table for previous example should look like this :

c. Select the entire table (except the labels), go to Data tab >> Multiple Operations.

Link the ‘Row input cell’ with the cell where you have input the dependent variable, mentioned in your table’s row. Link the ‘Column input cell’ with the cell where you have calculated the dependent variable, mentioned in your table’s column. The ‘Column input cell’ will only be used in case of two-dimensional sensitivity analysis.

e. Click ‘Ok’.
