TEACHING-LEARNING ACTIVITIES

a. INITIAL ACTIVITIES Duration: 5 minutes 1. Greeting a.

The teacher enters the class and greets the students, and the student response it.

The teacher checks the students’ present list.

2. Introduction the topic Duration: 10 minutes a) Teacher asks students about holiday. b) Teacher gives stimulus to the students to remember the vocabularies that involve with the topic. c) Teacher explains what students will be doing. 3. Duration: 25 minutes a. The teacher ask the student about holiday and ask them about the preparation. b. Teacher give the student a stimulus to list the thing that they need for holiday and ask the student to give information about the thing’s location using preposition. Activity 1 Teacher : “Next week we will have a holiday, speak of holiday, where will you go for holiday? (ask a student) Okay, than what will you need when you go to (name of place)?” “Now I am going to on holidays I want to go to the beach, and I couldn’t find something I need. Please help me to find them. You can find all that I need aroud the class. And you must tell me using preposition of place. Such as, between, under, on and etc.” Activity 2 : role play The teacher give 4 students a paper that contain with the an activity that can we do in holiday, the students must act it out without words while the other students try to guess the activity. Then ask the student to make a sentence using preposition. Example: I am reading a book in my bedroom. Sweeping Cooking Singing Swimming

Activity 3 : role play : magic box 7 siswa maju ke depan kelas, kemudian music dimainkan, magic box dipindahkn dari siswa 1 ke siswa lain, magic box tersebut berisi intruksi yang harus dilakukan oleh siswa yang memegang box terakhir ketika music jg berhenti. Apabila tidak bias melakukan intruksi tersebut maka siswa di beri hukuman ringan. 2.

You are going to the beach for the first time and you ask your friend about the thing that you need to go to the beach. b. You want to spend your holiday by watching a horror movie with your friend but, your friends doesn’t like it. Make a suggestion to your so your friends want to watch the horror movie with you. c. Your friend ask you to go to Bali with her/him. But you already have a plan for holiday and can’t go with her/him. Your friebds feel sad and you ask her/him to go on holiday with you. c. FINAL ACTIVITIES 1. Evaluation Duration: 5 minutes  Teacher make resume.  End the material and the class. 2. Concluding Duration: 5 minutes From our lesson today students can learn about ask and give information about holiday and preposition. 3. Closing: Duration: 5 minutes 
