Learning activity 4 Evidence: My motivators Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

Composition The challenge has been and continues to be my main motivation to overcome obstacles and achieve my goals, when something represents a challenge for me, I strive to achieve it. Interest has been my engine to put hope in the things I do when a project is important and I'm interested in, I am so dedicated that I leave everything else in the background. Variety is a good incentive not to fall into monotony, if my activities become repetitive, my interest fades and I no longer pay attention. Security has allowed me to get along easily with people and transmit my ideas without fear thanks to security I have become more daring to impose and enforce my point of view in interactions with my coworkers.

Competition motivates me not to be conformist with the knowledge and skills that I have, it inspires me to constantly improve to prevent other competencies from surpassing me. Working hard and seeing the results in your lifestyle is good motivation I have always aspired to change my lifestyle, I do not like or want to live the same way I did a few years ago. Relationships allow me to have friends and be with people who share my same interests and concerns, I like to exchange ideas and learn from my social circle, it is interesting to listen to people when they share their ideas. Independence has been very important in my life, independence is very important because it is where I stand up for myself and I strive to get my things without expecting anything from anyone. The recognition of people is a reward that makes me think that all the effort I put into my activities is not in vain, feeling that people value your work is an incentive. Money has never been my motivation, although I have had financial difficulties, it is true that with money we can aspire to live a better life but I believe that money is not everything and the most important thing is to be happy and money does not buy happiness.
