The three options we looked at, were a luxury accomodation modern building situated in city centre called MARCO POLO, a restored castle dating from Roman times set in 5000 m2 of countryside with golf course nearby, 10 kms. from airport called CANOVA and the last one is to build a new hotel 2 kms. from airport. The advantages of MARCO POLO are that it is in the city centre and the furniture of our chain can be used in it, but needed investment is really huge, about $ 23.000.000, in comparison with CANOVA, wich needs just about $ 15.000.000 investment. Moreover CANOVA has more attractive offers as swimming pool and spa/sauna. As everybody knows modern life has associated a high level of stress, we can address our advertisement policy to that actual problem of our society and of our best client, the bussinessman. If we can stablish a good system of transport betwen the airport and CANOVA hotel, we should be able to sign a convenient contract with some flight company to offer bonuses which includes flight and vacancy in our special hotel, all for a very interesting price. Also we can study possibility of familiar packs. The option of open a new hotel is not suitable, because disadvantages are really higher in front of advantages, for example the necessary investment, about $ 17 - 23.000.000 and it is placed in nowhere... far from the city, not so near from de airport... About number of rooms, CANOVA has just 124 rooms and would be interesting that every room transmits something different, we want open a new concept of hotel where people feels like home. Maybe in the case of continue with our actual chain of hotels the best option would be MARCO POLO, or even open a new one, but Milan is full of those kind of hotels, every one is identical to other. We really think is necessary and would be very profitable make a chage in hotel concept and over all be the first to do it. Now is the moment and CANOVA is the option.
