Increase or decrease the size of the earth depending on the size of your vase

Tip: work the earth to the size of your vase - mine is 7,5cm (3”) in diameter. Adapting is easy: if your vase is bigger, continue increasing from round 8 on. If it’s smaller, stop increasing when it reaches the desired size.

light yellow and cream - 1,75mm crochet hook chain, half double crochet, single crochet and slip stitch MIDDLE With light yellow 12 hdc in the magic ring - leave a long tail at the beginning for sewing (pic 1). Close the magic ring (pic 2). Work a border around, making [ch 2, slst 1] in the front loops only (pics 3 - 6). Fasten off. 1

PETALS With cream yarn Join yarn into the back loops of round 1 of the middle (pics 7 & 8) Ch 4, skip 1, slst 3, attach to the next stitch with 1 slst - repeat 12 times (pics 9 & 10) Fasten off. Sew the flower to the cactus (pic 11). 6
