Electric Minetruck EMT50 Technical specification

The Electric Minetruck EMT50 is a high-productive 50 tonnes load capacity underground truck. It’s about twice as fast as any diesel truck with the same capacity, which makes it the most productive truck in the world.

Technical features »»Safe working environment • The truck is powered by an overhead trolley line (no exhaust fumes) • The auxillary diesel engine is mainly used when there is no access to the trolley line e.g. loading and dumping stations • High speed up steep inclines means shorter ramps, lower development costs and more production from fewer trucks through shorter times. Fewer operators are required; with reduced traffic levels and less ramp congestion • Energy savings from regenerative braking which puts power back to the network and reducing brake wear and the related maintenance. Minimal emissions drastically reduce the ventilation requirement, wich saves energy costs and provides a healthier underground environment
