HOW TO INSTALL BEGINNING TO END GUIDE 1.Extract the three archives all at once with WinRAR. (password: softasm.com) 2.Mount the iso images (using for example Daemon Tools Lite) 3.Intall ANSYS 17.0 as usually, selecting the modules you want. IMPORTANT: Specify appropiate name of the Host ID which will run license server, when asked. It can be found in the Command Prompt (cmd) with command: ipconfig/all 4.Once finished, install ANSYS 17.0 License Manager. 5.Now is time to crack ANSYS. 6.Replace the files in: "Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\winx64" with those two in "ansys170lm.rar" 7.Generate a license file using the A170_Calc.exe IMPORTANT: when asked if you want to create a license file answer "N". Then introduce manually the correct Host ID (same as in step 3) and serial number (MAC adress available at the License Manager, in Get System Hostid Information, second row). License file will be generated in the same folder. 8.Paste the license file in: "C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\license_files" 9.Read the license file generated in ANSYS License Manager (Add a license file -> Browse). 10. That's all. Use firewalls to block ANSYS from calling home if needed. In my case it was not necessary. For those of you going with Intel HD graphics, Fluent needs to be connected with the GPU to run.
