Differences between the online class and the conventional class The World Health Organization says that the COVID-19 pandemic has put the world in the worst crisis after World War II. Given this, many countries have decreed quarantine, social distancing, the closing of borders and the suspension of face-to-face classes. For this reason, many educational institutions are offering courses in a virtual way, hand in hand with virtual platforms, since going back to classrooms will be dangerous. The purpose of education is universal, which is to help students achieve their goals during college or university, although the virtual education modality, unlike faceto-face education, has many challenges and limitations on personal interaction, online class pursue those ends. The face-to-face classes are held in physical classrooms equipped by a college or university, with useful tools so that the course teacher can offer his class. In addition to the classrooms, the institutions make available environments for use for social interaction, study environments and green areas. Teacher-student interaction in a traditional class requires the classroom teacher to capture the student's attention through interaction techniques to get students motivated, interested in discussion and participation. In a face-to-face class, putting into practice methodologies and techniques to interact in class is easier than using them in virtual classes. By taking face-to-face classes, students can interact before, during and after classes. By entering an educational institution, a student can interact with many people, including students. During classes, students form working groups that motivate them to carry out group work. After class, students meet with their classmates to discuss the course, and can also socialize in any of the public areas of their institution. To conduct a virtual class, an online learning platform is required, the platform provides tools and resources to support and improve the delivery of information and management of education. Also, in order to use it, you will need to have a stable internet connection. The interaction between students and teachers in an online class is limited, the communication channels focus on the use of emails, announcements from the virtual platform, by phone and, in some cases, through social networks. It is crucial that teacher-student interaction take a two-way path to be effective. It also requires students to manage their time and strive to take advantage of their classes. In an online class, collaboration between classmates is limited: to the live sessions of the courses, in which they are enrolled; and to the working groups that can form to solve the group work. In conclusion, there are several similarities and differences between the online class and the conventional class. Both types of study methodology have their advantages and challenges.
