Summary of Receptacle Activation •

Monopolar 1 & 2 – If the scanner senses any object, the Std Mono tab will be displayed and the other two screens will dim.

•

UFP – If the universal monopolar adapter is inserted into the universal footswitching accessory receptacle , the Acc. Port tab will be displayed and the other two screens will dim.

•

“Valleylab” – The “Valleylab” tab will be displayed if the scanner reads the barcode of an instrument that uses the Valleylab™ mode.

•

Bipolar – Both microswitches must be flush to activate the screen.

•

LigaSure™ 1 & 2 – These two receptacles must recognize an appropriate dot pattern or bar code, otherwise you will see “Invalid Instrument” on the screen.
