Automation and reliability through innovative cassette and proven strip performance Its fully automated operation and a new standard in urinalysis test strip handling through the innovative Urisys 2400 Cassette meet the requirements for an efficient workflow, reduced labour costs and high quality results. The key features of the proven Roche Diagnostics test strip chemistries are maintained and are now available in a convenient cassette format for the Urisys 2400 system. Roche Diagnostics test strips with ascorbic acid resistance of the most essential parameters (glucose and blood) ensure security of results.

A new standard and convenience in urinalysis test strip handling

The innovative, ready-to-use Urisys 2400 Cassette provides quick and convenient one-grip loading of cassettes and large onboard supply of 400 test strips. In addition, the Urisys 2400 Cassette ensures correct reagent handling for reliable analysis. Extended on-board stability of two (2) weeks in the humidity-safe cassette compartment secures consistent quality of results. Extended calibration interval of one (1) month minimises the hands-on time of the operator and decreases the costs.

The Urisys 2400 analyser provides the complete test parameter menu: Leukocytes, Nitrite, Protein, Glucose, Ketones, Urobilinogen, Bilirubin, Blood (Ery), pH and Colour via test strip; Clarity and Specific Gravity (refractometry) via physical determination. Automatic sample mixing and compensation of intrinsic urine colour improves security of results. Potential influence of varying ambient temperature on the test results is automatically compensated through the internal reference plate. The same principle is also used in other Roche Diagnostics urinalysis systems.

Flexible software and convenient user interaction

User-friendly, intuitive software ensures easy system operation. Colour touch screen with clearly arranged operation buttons, information areas and input fields ensure convenient user interaction. Software parameter settings include adjustable sensitivity ranges for all parameters, user-selectable flags of abnormal results and test strip sieve positive samples. Large result memory capacity allows data storage for 1000 routine samples, 200 STAT samples and 300 control samples (100 per control level). Control sample results are available as concentration and reflectance values for user-specific QC statistics.
