Tools And Materials List For The Paint Bush Handle Lure There are lots of different ways to make this style of lure; this list is given as an example of tools and materials for one version.

Wooden paint brush handle from a 40mm-65mm (1 ¼” to 2 ½”) brush, with flattened sides Handsaw

for wood

Marking or mortise gauge

for marking out the centre line

A bradawl or sharp metal point

for marking the centres of holes to be drilled

8mm (5/16”) Drill bit either HSS or Brad Point 8mm (5/16”) Half dome beads

for eyes

10mm (3/8) Drill bit either HSS or Brad Point 2mm (5/64”) Drill bit Clear nail varnish

for drilling out eye sockets

for drilling out weight holes
