Body: Join both legs by making an sc in the st after the last st of the first leg. It is important that the tips of both feet are pointing inwards. Now crochet 23 sc around the first leg + 6sc in the chains+ 24sc around the second leg+ 6sc in the chains = 60 sc

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff the body.

Eyes: *Use scissors to make a small hole in the white felt. Place the safety eyes into the hole and cut the white felt around the eye.

Cut the yarn and weave in ends. *Place the safety eyes with the white felt between R18 and R19, leaving 12 stitches between them (3,5cm). Stuff the head. Don`t attach the washers/backings yet as we will make the eye indents first (face sculpturing). Using a needle and yarn of a similar color, insert the needle in the back of the head and bring it out at the bottom inner corner of the left eye. Insert the needle again on stitch higher and bring it out at the bottom inner corner of the right eye. Once again insert the needle one stitch higher and bring it out at the same stitch you began with. Pull both yarn ends tightly and make a knot. Now attach the washers.

Ears: crochet two 1. 2. 3.

Close the MC now and sew both sides together. Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Embroider the nose, start at the MC. Attach the snout to the head between the eyes, same height like the eyes, stuff it.

Ruffle: Katia Merino, pink 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

40ch (= first cord), place a stitch marker (yarn with different colour) and crochet 25ch + 1 more ch, turn the work. (sc) x25 , 2 ch, turn the work (25) (hdc, inc) x25 , 2 ch, turn the work (50) (hdc, inc) x50 , 2 ch, turn the work (100) (hdc) (100) Crochet 4sl st into the side (picture page 6) to get to R1. 40ch (= second cord)

Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing. Attach the tail to the back above R4.

Combining all pieces: *Sew the head to the body. *Attach the ears to the head, count 6 rounds from MC to both sides of the head. (with a distance of 5cm). Additionally sew the ears to the back (picture below) so they won`t tild to the front.

*Sew the arms to the side of the body below the seam of the head (slightly oblique), the increases on round 8 should be at the front. *Count 3 rounds from the eyes to the top of the head and embroider the eyebrows. *Use pink blush for cheeks. * Create two pompoms, with a diameter of 1,5cm and and sew them to the belly with a distance of 3 rounds.

*Put on the ruffle and make a ribbon in the neck.
