OBJECTIVES - BASIC 1 Unit 1 - Meet a Rock Star Esta unidad se basa en la emoción de un concierto de rock y de conocer a su estrella favorita. Los estudiantes escucharán un informe de radio de un concierto de rock . Ellos escucharán y participarán en un diálogo acerca de los fans en busca de su ídolo de rock, y leerán un anuncio personal de un cantante de rock en busca de una novia. La sección se ocupa de la gramática del verbo " ser" : afirmativo, sí/no, preguntas y contracciones. La sección de vocabulario proporciona a los estudiantes, con la exposición a la práctica, las palabras y frases sobre el tema de entretenimiento.

Unit 2 - Against the Law Esta unidad se ocupa de la delincuencia y la ley . Los alumnos verán un video clip sobre el misterioso Victor Petrov y un collar de diamantes. Ellos escucharán y participarán en un diálogo sobre un hombre joven que consigue un boleto de estacionamiento, y leerán una historia sobre una mujer a la que le roban su cartera en la ciudad de Nueva York.
