NOTES Design life of the equipment shall be 25 years. Material in contact with process fluid shall comply with NACE MR0175. Vessel sizing and drawing is based on UOP document 9023078-301-01-231-D9003 (METRIC)-Vessels-Rev-0. Flow rate and fluid properties is based on UOP document 9023078-110-01-PFD Rev.0 Process Flow Diagram Dew Point Control Unit and UOP document 9023078-B1-Stream Data Rev 0 (stream 407) Case 2. Total volume exclude volume of vessel head. All internals shall be removable through vessel manholes unless otherwise noted. The entire vessel shall be lined with 0.125" thick 304L. CALCULATION BASIS 1. CALCULATION OBJECTIVE This calculation was performed to size the 2 phase separator with 50% margin. (refer to document JTB-SF-P-DBS-900-00004 Eqiupment Design Criteria revision 5 section 6.3.2). 2. CALCULATION METHODE Vessel sizing is carried out using 2 phase vertical separator calculation sheet 3. ASSUMPTION a. VRU Inlet Scrubber is a vertical two phase separator with Vane type inlet device and Vane Pack internals as per JTB-SF-P-CAL-900-00004. b.
Base case for vessel sizing is case 2.

K factor is 0.49 as per document JTB-SF-P-CAL-900-00004 "Equipment Sizing - Process Vessel Sizing" on bid bulletin 19.
4. DESIGN BASIS a.
Separator sizing is designed based on flowrate gas 1 x 100%.
