Jane is still in the process of obtaining a Certificate of Clearance for both Malaysia and Singapore. To request the Singapore Certificate of Clearance, the Singapore authorities will need a letter from the NVC specifically requesting the certificate. As per the NVC website, “Such letter should specify the need for the clearance and state explicitly that ‘a statutory declaration of no criminal conviction by the applicant is not acceptable as evidence that he/she does not have criminal convictions’.” Once we receive this request letter from you, Jane will apply for the Singapore Certificate of Clearance.
