RASHI TULYA NAVAMSA BY ZORAN RADOSAVLJEVIC

  

Rashi tulya navamsa technique is a standard technique found in nadi jyotisha. It is used in ascertaining subtler aspects of grahas reflected through a proper correlation of rasi and navamsa kundhali. As you all know, planetary positions in navamsa chart are very pronounced. Grahas in trines in navamsa chart bear such a strong impact to be able to mould the dharma of a person, while navamsa lagna has a strong bearing over an apperance of an individual. It is very important that planetary placement in navamsa is beneficially correlated to a rasi chart. TECHNIQUE: Look at the sign occupied by a graha in a navamsa chart. Find that sign in a rashi chart, and place the graha from its navamsa position to the same sign in the rashi chart Consider the planetary placement therein If a graha in the navamsa chart is placed in a sign falling in lagna in a rashi chart, then its placement is known as Lagnamsa (please make difference between this term and lagna in navamsa chart). If a graha is placed in a sign falling in the 2 nd house in a rashi chart, then its placement is known as dhanamsa, in the 3rd house vikramsa, in the 4th house sukhamsa, in the 5th house putramsa in the 6th house shastamsa, in the 7th house bharyamsa, in the 8th houserandramsa, in the 9th house bhagyamsa, in the 10th house karmamsa, in the 11th houselabhamsa in the 12th house vyayamsa. Look at the following chart: Male born on 16.10.1954. 23.36 min. Subotica Yugoslavia 19E39 46N06. Timezone 1h(cet)

Navamsa Chart

This person has a very peculiar chart, having three grahas in exaltation in kendra becoming mutual co-workers. Seemingly, three Mahapurusha Yogas are formed. However, both sun and moon are weak, sun by being in rasi sandhi, while moon afflicted with Ketu in debilitation and placed in the 12th house. Moon is furthermore debilitated in the navamsa chart. Yet, the native is neither successful, nor prosperous, in spite of mutual aspects of exalted 9th and 10th lords. What is more, he is childless. The letter is better seen in the Saptamsa chart, which has a prime say over the children. He had so far 3 marriages, which is seen by conjunction of the 7th house lord Saturn with Mercury (lord of 12 th and 3rd Houses) in trines to Moon (lagna lord). Upapada falls in the 8 th house and is one of the reasons for person’s childlessness and marriage plurality. Second house from Upapada receives rasi dristi of moon and Rahu/Ketu axis. It is lorded by Jupiter, which is afflicted by Saturn even though placed in exaltation sign. Let’s see what Rashi Tulya Navamsa indicates. If we distribute the planets from navamsa signs into the same planets in the rashi chart we get the following: Chart 2

Please note that navamsa placements are written in blue letters. Mars, Saturn and Ketu are placed in 8.house in evil sign Kumbha which is very bad. Mars and Ketu are lords of 5 th house in rashi chart, while Saturn is lord of 7 th house. Furthermore, these planets afflict Upapada Lagna. Moon will be found in 5 th house in debilitation with natal Venus who is very inimical to Moon. Both these factors are very evil for children and marriage. Jupiter is placed in 2 nd house, which is not bad, apart from Jupiter being inimical to Venus Aruda Lagna lord. Jupiter’s conjunction with Rahu and Venus in navamsa is also unfavourable, since Rahu tends to debilitate Jupiterian influence. CONCLUSION: We can see that all important planets (Mars, Moon, Venus and Jupiter) occupy quite poor navamsa positions, which has resulted in cancellation of seemingly powerful placement of several grahas in rashi chart. This chart clearly illustrates the importance of navamsa positions. What is more, it verifies the dictum given by Saravali, which indicates the importance of Surya and Chandra’s strength as far as planetary yogas are concerned.
