Where are you going? When are you going? What is the weather like? Do you need warm-weather or cold-weather clothes?
NOTE: Use the following as a sample 3-paragraph essay.
Next June, I’m going to travel to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Some of my friends and I decided to go there for the winter vacations. The climate in Punta Cana is generally warm with an average of 30 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature in the morning is 24 degrees Celsius. From May to October, it is usually hot and humid. The temperature can get up to 35 degrees Celsius. For travel to this hot area, I am going to take lighter clothes that are more comfortable than heavier clothes. For example, I will take three pairs of shorts, three t-shits, four polo shirts, two pair of jeans and two short sleeve shits in case I need to go out at night. I know I will have a wonderful time.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE STUDENT: Now, write your descriptive paragraph. Do not forget to “indent”, and to “punctuate”.
