advice of Ifá before taking any steps in life. What we see to be a good thing with our naked eyes might be something evil to us which can only be seen by making enquiry from Ifa. Agogo sekete (the gong) was told to go and meet with rod on the road. Agogo doesn't know their plans was to fight him but he went to bàbàlawo for consultation. He was asked to make Ẹbọ for protection and victory and he did, when he got there to meet with rod, they have planned against him and started beating him seriously, but instead of him to get tired and wear out. It is the groups of rod that is wearing out and they all died while the gong is still standing ruggedly. He became victorious and praises his babaláwo. Akose: Alabahun 3 Igbin 3 Ewe and egbò tude (the leaves and roots of tude tree) Burn everything together, use it with omi tutu or Eko. Every man in the town wants her as a wife because whoever has her as wife will be wealthy as she's a daughter of a king. The king is ready to dash anybody that eventually marry his daughter half of

his wealth. In the kings lineage, the daughter have to spend 7 days in the proposed husband's house before they get married. The proposed husband should not attempt to touch her for that 7 days as well because it's a taboo and any man that trespass will be punished by the king. Rich men from near and far asks for her hand in marriage and she will go there to spend the days with him because it's a must. At night, Èsù will go there and make the man's body to arouse so much which will make him to attempt to make love to Atoorọ but she refuses. That's how she leaves for her father's house every time and the man will either be put in prison or he provide a sum of money to bail himself. When Orunmila wants to go and ask for Atoorọ hand in marriage, he went for consultation and he was told to make sacrifice and he complied. He was asked to appease Èsù with orúkọ and he did. He asked the king for Atoorọ hand in marriage and the king sent his daughter to Ọ̀rúnmìlà house. Èsù didn't bother Ọ̀rúnmìlà because he's been appeased and she spend 7 days with him and there was no qualms. The king eventually handed Atoorọ over to Ọ̀rúnmìlà to be his wife, he also divided his wealth into two and gave one to Ọ̀rúnmìlà to finance him. Akose: Make sure to offer Èsù with orúkọ, epo pupọ, ọtí pupọ, iyọ̀ and Obi.

I have turned to live till old age like gong. Ẹbọ: Orúkọ 2, àkùkọ, abodie, eku 2, eja 2, Òkété. Story: Ọlọ́fin agbodiwonran was the one with severe illness, he cannot eat nor drink by himself. He is fed by people and they even help him wash his body with soft clothes. Babalawos was called upon and they made consultation for him, ẹbọ was prescribed for him and he made the necessary sacrifices and appeasements, he regained his health and lives a sound life. He grew old and praises his babaláwo while the babaláwo praises Ifá. Akose: Èwe aro, ewe apadà, ewe abirikolo, Put them in a mud pot. Use iyerosun to press the Odù on ọpọ́n Ifá and empty it on these leaves. Use the head of the oruko to touch the person's head 3 times with prayers. Kill it and let the blood go to the leaves on the pot. Put the head of the oruko on the pot and bury it on the ground.

Translation: Ọyẹ just begins to show up from the uphill They thought its morning already Casted Ifá for Ògún Which is going to war that will laugh at the end He was told to make sacrifice before going He did the sacrifice It is Ogun that went to the war and laugh at his return I hail you Ogun The one with scattered clothes Ejemu atolu wọnrán One who prepares quickly to go to war.

Ẹbọ. Eku, Ẹja, Abodie, Akùkọ, Aja, Ẹmu, Ẹwà ẹyan, Guguru eyan, Iyọ̀, Ọtí. Story.. It was in the time of war when some powerful people will wage war against a torn and destroy everything in the town together with the residents. They will enslave the people that are harmless and kill the harmful ones. The people wants to wage war against the town of Ògún which made Ògún to go for divination. He was told to make Ẹbọ that truly, the war is a deadly one but ogún will be victorious and come back home safely. Ògún did the necessary ẹbọ and went to the war front, he was told not to depend on his powers but on the sacrifices and he did as instructed. By the time Ògún got to the war front. The enemies were already tired and they were captured with ease. It was so much fun for Ogun because he didn't expect a war that has been destroying many towns to be so much easy like that. He was just laughing till he got back to his town and everybody saw him from afar smiling and laughing that the war has been conquered. Akose.. Orúkọ should be offered to Èsù for ìṣẹ́gun ọ̀tá.
