TITLE OF LESSON: Input skill & grammar lesson Learning Outcomes – by the end of this lesson, pupils should be able to:

ALL:  The students will be able to identify some new verbs followed by gerunds and verbs followed by infinitives.  They will watch a video where listen to a song and they will fill the blanks.  The students y will identify infinitive verbs.  The students will identify the simple past of the verb.  The learners will repeat correctly the new vocabulary. Lesson Procedure: As a warm up, the teacher asks the students things they like and don’t like. Then, write the next sentences: I like to play soccer. She hates playing Xbox. Then, ask the students to talk about sports they like and don’t like to get a pattern. After that, the teacher explains that there are some verbs that follow gerunds and infinitives. Then, the teacher gives an example will write down on the white board a list of verbs. After that, the teacher will arrange the verbs in two columns, and the students recognize which verbs follow the gerunds and the verbs followed by infinitives. Then, the instructions must be given to perform the activity: First you are going to gather in groups of five and you are going to fill out the gaps from the movie. Then, after watching the video (https://en.islcollective.com), the instructor will correct the answers of the worksheet. Finally, the instructor tells the students that they are going to practice the grammar with a (kahoot) game about verbs followed by infinitives and gerunds.
