Description The Hero's Band is an in-game ring that will be available to every character on your account. When worn by your character, the ring provides the following benefits: +2 Power, +2 Precision, +2 Toughness, +2 Vitality, +2 Condition Damage, +2% Critical Damage and +2 Healing. When used, the elite skill will summon a Mistfire Wolf to temporarily fight alongside you and your allies. This rare mini is a perfect replica of Rytlock Brimstone and will accompany your character on all of their adventures throughout Tyria. The Golem Banker provides unlimited access to your account storage from anywhere in-game for five consecutive days. The five-day period begins when you first use the Golem Banker. During the five-day period, you can use the Golem Banker's service as many times as you'd like. The Chalice of Glory is a one-time-use item that will add a set amount of Glory to your account. Once used, the chalice will be destroyed and the bonus will be reflected on your account. Use this Glory to unlock rewards in PvP as well as compare your progress against other players. The Tome of Influence is a one-time-use item that will add a set amount of Influence to the guild you're representing. Once used, the tome will be destroyed and the bonus will be reflected on the guild you are representing at the time of use. Useful for unlocking guild vaults, emblems, and other items for your guild.

MAP ICONS: NPCS AND MECHANICS Icon

Description Hearts indicate NPCs that are in need of assistance, and which can offer services to characters that have helped them. Windows on the left indicate how many hearts have been completed in the world and the current region, and how many exist in total. Points of interest are locations that can be discovered through exploration. A spyglass shows the location of a scout. Talking to a scout will temporarily unfog parts of the map and mark nearby hearts, challenges, and other important tasks in the region. Vistas are interactive objects located in the world which triggers an associated cinematic. It appears as a column of light with a map of Tyria floating near the ground. A jumping puzzle is usually required to reach vistas.

ATTRIBUTES PRIMARY ATTRIBUTES All professions have four common primary attributes, two offensive and two defensive. Attributes grow with level, starting with 24 in each at level 1. Each level up through level 9 grants 4 points to each attribute; levels 10–19 grant 6 points each; 20–29, 8 points; ... 70–79, 18 points; 80, 20 points. The total by level 80 is 916 in each attribute for all professions. In addition, primary attributes can be increased by spending points in a relevant trait line or from equipment: Power — Every point increases attack by one point. Precision — Increases critical hit chance. Toughness — Every point increases armor by one point. Vitality — Every point increases maximum health by ten points.

SECONDARY ATTRIBUTES There are five secondary attributes common to all professions; three are offensive and two are defensive. In contrast to the primary attributes, secondary attributes do not automatically increase as characters gain levels. They can be increased by spending points in the relevant trait line or with equipment bonuses. Boon Duration — Improves the duration of all boons applied by the character. Condition Damage — Improves the damage done by conditions like burning, poison, confusion, and bleeding. Condition Duration — Improves the duration of all conditions inflicted by the character. Critical Damage — Improves the damage multiplier on critical strikes. Healing Power — Improves all outgoing heals that your character does, including self heals.
