MAKE

IT

STAND

To enable the bunny to stand, after finishing stuffing you will need to use the yarn tail as follows: Thread the yarn in a needle, insert the needle down through the body and through the bottom of the body just next to the Magic Ring (MR). Reinsert the needle through the MR centre and through the body, pulling the MR slightly up towards the neck until the bottom is indented (see photos below). Keeping tension, insert the needle through the MR centre again then back up towards the neck. Knot the thread into the side of the neck to anchor the bottom of the bunny but take care not to misshape or distort the neck. Sew the leftover yarn through the stuffing a couple of times to hide the yarn then cut. Weave in the yarn end.

Fun facts Mini lop rabbits: 1. There are several breeds: English lop, American lop, French lop etc. 2. Life span is 10-14 years 3. They are very energetic and playful 4. They can learn to do tricks with clicker training

Daisy - the rainbow bunny EYES

INSTRUCTIONS Use black lace yarn to embroider the eyes at round 15 - 17, 7 or 8 stitches away from each other, 3 stitches wide and sew the eyelash at the end. Start off from back of the head, needle to come out of one corner of the eye. Use marking pins, mark the shape of eyes. Wrap black thread to form the eye to check if you are happy before sewing. Remove the pins at the top and the other corner of eye. Insert needle through bottom corner of eye, needle coming out of the side of eye (middle photos). Insert the needle in the same hole it comes out of to form a loop around the eye line to secure its position. Gently pull tight. Embroider the eyelash in the far corner. Embroider the eyebrows 5 rounds above the top of eyes.

FEET

Embroider the feet at the bottom of the bunny body using yellow yarn. 12- 13 stitches apart. The widest part of each foot is 3 stitches.
