EVIDENCE: THE FUTURE OF MY CITY This evidence is divided into two parts. For the first part, you have to create a presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint or a tool of your choice describing your predictions about the city where you were born. You should only use the future perfect and the future perfect progressive. Your presentation should have at least 10 slides (5 sentences using the future perfect and 5 sentences using the future perfect progressive). Look at the examples below: •

By the year 2020, the population of Bogota will have grown substantially.

• By 2023, the first woman mayor will have been carrying out better social development projects for three years. For the second part, you have to record your answers explaining why you think your predictions are accurate. Below you will see a sentence illustrating the grammar you should use: I think my prediction will have taken place by 2020 because there are no serious birth control policies in Bogota. I’m afraid the city will reach an overpopulation peak within a five year period that will make it really difficult to move around.

Para la primera parte, debes crear una presentación en Microsoft PowerPoint o una herramienta de tu elección que describa tus predicciones sobre la ciudad donde naciste. Solo debes usar el futuro perfecto y el futuro perfecto progresivo. Su presentación debe tener al menos 10 diapositivas (5 oraciones usando el futuro perfecto y 5 oraciones usando el futuro perfecto progresivo).

Mira los ejemplos a continuación:

• Para el año 2020, la población de Bogotá habrá crecido sustancialmente.

• Para el 2023, la primera mujer alcaldesa habrá estado llevando a cabo mejores proyectos de desarrollo social durante tres años.

Para la segunda parte, debe registrar sus respuestas explicando por qué cree que sus predicciones son precisas. A continuación, verá una oración que ilustra la gramática que debe usar: Creo que mi predicción se habrá cumplido en 2020 porque no hay políticas serias de control de la natalidad en Bogotá. Me temo que la ciudad alcanzará un pico de superpoblación en un período de cinco años, lo que hará que sea realmente difícil moverse.
