Learning activity 4 Evidence: My motivators Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

Composition The challenge has been and remains my main motivation to overcome obstacles. when something is a challenge to me, i try harder to achieve it. Interest is been my engine to put enthusiasm in the things i do. when a project catches my interest, i focus in that it works well. Security has allowed me to develop easily and convey my ideas without fear. Thanks to security i have developed better in different work and social groups. The security in myself, does not mean feeling superior to others. It is about knowing, internally and with serenity, that I am a capable person. The variety is a good incentive not to fall into monotony. if my activities become repetitive, my interest fades and i no longer pay attention, i try to make everything

different. The competition motivates me not to be conformist with the knowledge and skillsthat i have. i like to compete with the people around me, I think competing with other peoples helps me improve my skills. Working hard and seeing the results is also a good motivation. I have always aspired to change my lifestyle. I will not like living the same way i did a few years ago. Relationships allow me to make friends with people who share my same interestsand concerns. I like to exchange ideas, it isinteresting to listen to people when you pay attention and learn from the thingsthey tell you. The internal recognition for me is the most satisfactory, because i did it myself, the recognition of other people is a reward that makes me think that all the effort i put into my activities was not in vain. Feeling that people value my work is a great incentiveand more my loved ones. The money has been a motivator, even if i have had financial difficulties. It is true thatwith money we can aspire to live a better life, but the money do not is all. I just wish i had sufficient money for live ok., because money not always is happiness. The Independence is not important in my academic and work training. I believe that independence is ok when it is personal work, because one does their job and if it is wrong the scolding is for one and not all. But i like to do thingsas a team.
