 ¹ The Eiris Base Package includes Server for 10 Elpas Devices , 3 concurrent client connections, EV2 client  software, History Recorder, Report Generator and Watchdog Software. Each EV2 and History Recorder session  consumes a separate client connection when in use. ² Devices: IR Reader, RF Reader, Elpas Local Controllers, LF Exciter Standalone/Master/Slave.

Redundant Eiris When using the Eiris Redundancy Watchdog for a redundant, high availability Eiris architecture, then the both servers need to be  licensed independently with separate license keys which support the necessary number of readers and used extensions.  These  licenses need to be issued as "Master" licenses in order to be able to run a database originating on a foreign machine. At this time, Elpas waives the charge for the additional readers and extensions for the second licence. Therefore, a full license  including extra reader packs and extension fees, need be ordered for a single machine.  Only a base package (5-ERS04101) needs to  be ordered for the second server.

Multi Site Eiris When using the Remote Site extension to create a multi-site Eiris architecture, then all remote sites need to be licensed for all  connected readers plus any for-charge extensions.  The master server must be licensed for the total of all readers from all remote  sites. At this time, Elpas waives the charge for the additional reader packs which may be needed on the master machine. Therefore, a full  license including extra reader packs and extension fees, must be ordered for each remote site server.  Only a base package (5ERS04101) needs to be ordered for the master server.

Tag Classes With the introduction of several new interfaces with smartphones and passive RFID readers, we have introduced tag or badge  licensing. Elpas tags will continue to be free of charge in the Eiris software, and are considered Class 1. At the time of ordering  software, please provide an estimate of how many active Elpas badges you expect to enroll in the system so we can license  accordingly. Passive tags, proximity cards (for access control), and license plates will require a Class 2 Tag License Credit. 3rd party  active RFID badges, BLE tags, Wifi tags, and wireless phone handsets will require a Class 3 Tag License Credit. For more  information, please contact your sales manager.
