SURFSWEEP CLW3060 Pipeline Cleaner Water soluble cleaner for natural gas pipelines

Application The Baker Hughes SURFSWEEP™ CLW3060 pipeline cleaner is an anionic, water soluble surfactant designed to penetrate and dissolve organic deposits in natural gas pipelines. It is an excellent choice for areas where oil soluble cleaning agents cannot be used. This product leaves solids and metal surfaces water wet, allowing the solids to be easily removed from the system during normal pipeline pig runs. SURFSWEEP CLW3060 pipeline cleaner works well in the removal of deposits caused by organic compounds, iron sulfide, salt, mineral scales and sulfur. SURFSWEEP CLW3060 pipeline cleaner should be applied to the pipeline by batch treatment during pig runs. Typical treatment rates are 0.25 to 0.50 gallons of this product / diameter inch / pipeline mile. SURFSWEEP CLW3060 pipeline cleaner should be mixed with water to make a Typical properties (may include other properties not listed below)

10% solution before application in the pipeline. Pipelines should be cleaned on a monthly or quarterly basis, depending on the amount of solids in the system. Your Baker Hughes representative can evaluate your system’s performance, specify the appropriate treatment and equipment, and design a comprehensive application program.
