Sample answer Hi Mike, How are things? I hope you are well and enjoying your summer. I’m having a great time here on holiday. I’ve met lots of people and have made some really nice friends. I’m sending you a photo which I took of us all. The girl on my left is called Miranda. She is 17 years old, but she looks a bit older I think. I love her red hair! We met on the first day of the holiday at breakfast and we sat together. She’s really clever and hard-working and she wants to study medicine. The boy on my right-hand side is called Matthew and he’s the tallest one in the group. We met playing volleyball on the beach. I’ve played with him a few times and he’s really good. He’s always cheerful and makes us laugh. I love his spiky black hair! Speak soon. All the best, Maya
