INFORMACIÓN GENERAL

GENERAL INFORMATION

1) Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y comprobar que el contenido coincide con lo indicado en el apartado de la “Lista de embalaje”. Si se observa algún componente dañado o la ausencia de alguno avisar rápidamente al distribuidor.

INSTALACIÓN

INSTALLATION

Situar el autoclave cerca de una toma de corriente adecuada al consumo de la máquina (115V / 230V).

Place the autoclave near a suitable electric mains (115V / 230V).

El autoclave lleva unos niveles en la parte delantera ajustados con una inclinación óptima para facilitar el desagüe. Tenga en cuenta que si reduce esta inclinación, el proceso puede no realizarse correctamente.

The autoclave has levellers in the front part which are fixed with the optimim slant to facilitate the drainage. In case of reducing this slant, the process cannot be carried out correctly.

Utilizar siempre agua descalcificada.

Always use decalcified water.

Llenar el depósito con agua descalcificada a través del orificio de llenado, controlando su nivel a través del tubo posterior de vaciado.

Fill the tank with decalcified water through the filling hole, checking its level through the rear drainage tube.

¡ATENCIÓN! IMPORTANTE PARA SU SEGURIDAD CAUTION!!! IMPORTANT FOR YOUR SAFETY

No instalar el autoclave en zonas donde se almacenen líquidos inflamables o zonas con protección especial.

Do not install the autoclave in places where inflammable liquids are stored or in zones with special protection.

No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma de tierra.

Do not use the autoclave if it is not earthed.

Antes de abrir la tapa del autoclave comprobar SIEMPRE que NO haya PRESIÓN. El indicador del manómetro instalado en el panel de mandos debe marcar 0kg/cm².

Before opening the cover ALWAYS check that there is NO PRESSURE. The pressure gauge indicator installed in the control panel must read 0kg/cm2

Asegúrese que el equipo se conecta a una tensión de red que coincide con la indicada en la placa de características.

Make sure that the voltage indicated on the description plate coincides with the mains power.

Si cambia la clavija de enchufe tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:

If you have to chang the plug bear in mind the following:

Cable azul: Neutro. Cable marrón: Fase. Cable Amarillo/Verde: Tierra.

OPERACIÓN

PUESTA EN MARCHA:

STARTING UP:

1º Colocar el material a esterilizar.

1º Place the material to be sterilized.

2º Cerrar la puerta.

2º Close the cover.

3º Accionar el interruptor general ON/OFF (1).

3º Press the main switch ON/OFF (1).

4º Poner en marcha mediante el pulsador START (15), seleccionando previamente la modalidad de funcionamiento, tiempo y temperatura o programa.

4º Select the operation mode, time and temperature or programme, and start up the machine with START (15) pushbutton.

MODALIDADES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO:

OPERATION MODES:

LÍQUIDOS: Al final del ciclo de esterilización, el autoclave se para y empieza a bajar gradualmente la temperatura y en consecuencia la presión, evitando así que se derramen los líquidos.

LIQUIDS: At the end of sterilization cycle, the autoclave stops and the temperature and pressure begin to go down, thus avoding the liquid spilling.

SÓLIDOS: Al final del ciclo de esterilización, el autoclave se para y efectúa una rápida descompresión.

SOLIDS: At the end of sterilization cycle, the autoclave stops and effects a rapid decompression..

DRY: Al final del modo de sólidos se hace el vacío para secar el interior durante un tiempo determinado.

DRYING: At the end of the solids mode the vaccum is done to dry the inner during a certain time.

SEGURIDADES ANTES DE PULSAR START (15):

* Verificar que el tiempo es diferente de 0.

* Check that the time is different from 0.

* Verificar que la temperatura actual es inferior a 100°C.

* Check that the present temperature is below 100ºC.

* Verificar que no existe condición de error.

* Check that there is NO ERROR on the display.

* Verificar que esté cerrada la válvula de desvaporización (25) situada en la parte posterior.

* Check that the drainage valve (25) situated at rear part is closed.

PROGRAMACIÓN:

Este autoclave permite dos modos diferentes de operación MANUAL o AUTOMÁTICA, dado que posee nueve programas específicos que usualmente se utilizan en la practica, además de poderse programar manualmente en el PROGRAMA 0. Los programas seleccionables están indicados en la tabla de la página 5.

This autoclave allows two different types of operation: AUTOMATIC or MANUAL. Under automatic mode nine specific programmes which are normally used are available. The manual mode, PROGRAMME 0, permits programming the process according to the user’s needs. The specific programmes are shown on table of page 5.

PROGRAMACIÓN MANUAL DE LA TEMPERATURA Y TIEMPO DE ESTERILIZACIÓN:

MANUAL PROGRAMMING OF STERILIZATION TEMPERATURE AND TIME:

1º Mediante el pulsador de programas (17) coloque el display de programas a cero.

1º Through pushbutton (17) put programme display at 0.

2º Seleccionar el modo de funcionamiento accionando los pulsadores 5, 6 y 7 según se desee liquidos, sólidos o solidos+secado.

2º Select operation mode with 5,6 and 7 pushbuttons depending on if you wish to work with Solids, Liquids or Solids+Drying

3º Para seleccionar la temperatura , pulse simultáneamente el pulsador (9) y el pulsador (10) ó (11) según se quiera subir o bajar la temperatura de esterilización. (valor programable entre 110°C y 134°C).

3º To select the temperature, press simultaneously (9) and (10) or (11) pushbutton depending on if you wish to up or down the sterilization temperature. (Programmable value between 110ºC and 134ºC).

4º Para seleccionar el tiempo de esterilización pulse simultáneamente el pulsador (14) y el pulsador (10) ó (11) según se quiera subir o bajar el tiempo de esterilización. (valor seleccionable entre 1' y 99').

4º To select sterilization time press simultaneously (14) and (10) or (11) depending on if you wish to up or down the time (programmable value between 1 and 99 minutes).

5º Para seleccionar el tiempo de secado pulse simultáneamente el pulsador (14) dos veces (automáticamente se encendera el indicador (12)) y el pulsador (10) ó (11) según se quiera subir o bajar el tiempo de secado. (valor seleccionable entre 1' y 99').

5º To select drying time, press simultaneously (14) pushbutton twice (automatically indicator (12) will light up) and (10) or (11) pushbutton, depending on if you wish to up or down the drying time (programmable value between 1 and 99 minutes).

6º Pulse el pulsador de marcha (START) (15); el indicador del modo seleccionado (5 o 6 o 7) se pondrá intermitente.

6º Press (START) (15) pushbutton, the indicator of the selected operation mode (5 or 6 or 7) will light intermittently.

7º A partir de este momento quedan inactivos los pulsadores de avance (10), retroceso (11) y de programa (17).

7º From now the advance (10), reverse (11) and programme (17) pushbuttons are inactive.

8º En todo momento se podrán observar la temperatura (8) y tiempo (13) prefijados, pulsando las teclas correspondientes (9 y 14).

8º At any time the selected temperature (8) and time (13) can be seen by pressing the corresponding (9 and 14) pushbuttons.

9º Transcurrido el tiempo prefijado, se encenderá el indicador (4) de final de ciclo sonará un aviso acústico.

9º After the selected time is passed, the end cycle indicator lamp (4) will light up and an acoustic warning will be heard.

10ºAcabado el ciclo pulsar siempre el botón de paro STOP (18).

10º Once the cycle is finished always press STOP (18) pushbutton.

11ºAsegúrese de que no hay presión y abra la tapa.

11º Make sure that there is NO PRESSURE and open the cover.

Para la PROGRAMACIÓN AUTOMÁTICA deberá escoger cualquier programa distinto de 0 pulsando el botón (17) y a continuación pulsar el botón de marcha (15) START.

For AUTOMATIC programming you should chose a programme different from 0 by pressing (17) pushbutton and then press (15) START pushbutton.

The complete process of sterilization consists of different phases:

FASE1: LLENADO

PHASE 1 : FILLING

Al poner en marcha la máquina un sensor comprueba si tiene agua la cubeta, en caso de no detectar su presencia la llena hasta el nivel determinado. Durante este proceso se enciende el indicador (3).

When the apparatus starts up a sensor checks whether there is water in the tank, in case of no water in it, this fills up to the determined level. During this process the indicator lamp (3) lights up.

FASE 2: PURGADO

PHASE 2:DRAIN

En esta fase se vacía el aire del autoclave. La fase de purgado no se da por finalizada hasta que se alcanza la temperatura de esterilización.

In this phase the autoclave air is emptied. The drainage phase is not finished until the autoclave reaches the sterilization temperature.

FASE 3: ESTERILIZACIÓN

PHASE 3: STERILIZATION

A partir del inicio de esta fase se comienza a descontar el tiempo de esterilización hasta llegar a 0.

From the beginning of this phase the sterilization time count down starts until it reaches 0.

FASE 4: DESCARGA

PHASE 4: UNLOADING

Se produce una descompresión lenta en programa de LÍQUIDOS y rápida en programa de SÓLIDOS o SÓLIDOS+SECADO.

A slow decompression is produced in the LIQUIDS programme. A fast decompression is produced in the SOLIDS or SOLIDS+DRY programmes.

FASE 5: SECADO

PHASE 5: DRYING

En esta fase se pone en marcha la bomba de vacío y la calefacción. Se puede ajustar la temperatura mediante el termostato de faja de secado (ver nº 26 pág. 12).

In this phase the vacuum pump and the heater start up. The temperature can be adjusted through the heater band thermostat (see no. 26 page 12).

FASE 6: FINAL

PHASE 6: END

Sonará el avisador acústico y el indicador luminoso (4) permanecerá encendido hasta que se pulse STOP (18).

The acoustic warning will sound and the indicator lamp (4) will stay lit until the STOP (18) button is pressed.

¡ATENCIÓN! LA ENCIMERA PUEDE PRODUCIR QUEMADURA INCLUSO CON EL EQUIPO PARADO CAUTION!!! WHEN DOOR IS OPEN, THE STAINLESS STEEL FRONTFRAME AN CAUSE SERIOUS BURNS

RECOMENDACIONES PARA LOGRAR UNA PERFECTA ESTERILIZACIÓN:

PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A PERFECT STERILIZATION:

1. El material a esterilizar, tiene que estar perfectamente limpio, libre cualquier tipo incrustación o residuo, para ello es recomendable lavarlo con un buen detergente y agua destilada. Después aclararlo con abundante agua.

1. The material to be sterilized has to be perfectly clean, free of any incrustations and impurities, so it is recommended to clean it with a good detergent and distilled water and rinse it with abundant water.

2. No cargar en exceso las bandejas, gradillas o cestillos, procurando dejar siempre un espacio entre ellos de 1 ó 2 cm, a fin de favorecer el paso del vapor y facilitar el secado.

2. Do not overload the trays, baskets or racks. and leave a space between them of 1 or 2 cms. to facilitate the steam circulation and the drying process.

3. Esterilización de instrumentos a granel:

3. Sterilization of “UNWRAPPED INSTRUMENTS”:

3.1 Colocar el instrumental sobre el papel hidrófugo en posición abierta y que no se toquen entre sí. 3.2 Evitar colocar en una misma bandeja instrumental de diferente tipo de metal.

4. Esterilizar instrumental en bolsas: 4.1 No debe de haber más de un instrumento por bolsa. 4.2 Colocar las bolsas sobre papel hidrófugo, en posición vertical que no se toquen entre sí ni tampoco las paredes del autoclave.

3.1 Place the instruments directly onto the waterrepellent paper. avoiding any spilling up of one upon another. 3.2 Avoid placing instruments of different metal type in the same tray.

4. Sterilization of “INSTRUMENTS IN BAGS”: 4.1 Put one instrument per bag. 4.2 Place the bags onto the water-repellent paper, in vertical position avoinding any spilling up of one upon another or the autoclave walls.

5. Tubos:

5. TUBES:

5.1 Los tubos deben estar perfectamente limpios, aclarados y escurridos. 5.2 Colocar los tubos, a poder ser, abiertos por ambos lados. 5.3 Procurar que los tubos no toquen la pared del autoclave, ni que formen dobleces que obstruyan el diámetro interior.

6. Recipientes:

5.1 The tubes have to be clean and dried. 5.2 Place the tubes, if it is possible, without obstructing the both ends. 5.3 Take care that the tubes do not touch the autoclave chamber and avoid folding them because the inner chamber can be obstructed.

6. RECEPTACLES:

6.1 Nunca colocar recipientes herméticamente cerrados. 6.2 Colocar los recipientes boca abajo para evitar los depósitos de agua.

7. Líquidos:

6.1 Do NEVER put the receptable closed hermetically. 6.2 Place the receptable face down to avoid the water residues.

7. LIQUIDS:

7.1 Colocar los líquidos a esterilizar en recipientes preparados para soportar la temperatura de esterilización. 7.2. Los recipientes se llenarán sobre los 2/3 de su capacidad. NO SE CERRARAN herméticamente, se taparán con algodón o algún tipo de tapón que facilite la salida de aire del recipiente y no se forme presión. 7.3 Se evitará utilizar recipientes de cuello estrecho. 7.4 Al final del ciclo de esterilización, se dejará que el autoclave se enfríe lentamente (hasta que la presión sea 0 kg/cm²).

7.1 Place the liquids to be sterilized in receptacles capable to support the sterilization temperature. 7.2 The receptacles will be filled about 2/3 of its capacity. They will NEVER be closed hermetically, they will cover with cotton or some type of tap that makes easy the air outlet and it does not make pressure. 7.3 Please avoid using receptacles with a narrow neck. 7.4 At the end of the sterilization cycle, leave the autoclave to cool slowly (until the pressure is 0 kg/cm²).

Al poner en marcha el autoclave mediante el interruptor selector (1), el registrador se pone en marcha automáticamente.

When the autoclave is turned on with selector switch (1), the recorder automatically starts up.

PROTECCIÓN ANTE FALLO DE TENSIÓN:

PROTECTION AGAINST TENSION FAILURE:

Este control está provisto de un circuito con un software específico que detecta en cualquier momento un fallo de tensión y mantiene las diferentes variables en memoria hasta que se restaura la tensión, durante varias horas. Posteriormente el programa se continua ejecutando desde el mismo punto en que se interrumpió. En función de las condiciones encontradas en la reanudación se generarán o no las diferentes condiciones de error.

This unit is supplied with a specific software circuit which detects a tension failure at any time and keeps the different variables on record until the tension is restored, for several hours. Afterwards the programme continues working from the same point at which it was interrupted. According the conditions found on renewal , different errors may or may not occur.

Safety valve:

Si se produjera una sobrepresión anormal se abriría la válvula de seguridad (22) expulsando el vapor. Dicha válvula está calibrada para que inicie la apertura entre 2.2 kg/cm² y 2.5 kg/cm².

If abnormal overpressure occured the safety valve (22) would open and expel the steam. Said valve is ganged to initiate the opening between 2.2 kg/cm² and 2.5 kg/cm².

Termostato de seguridad:

Safety thermostat:

Cuando se produce una elevación anormal de temperatura, entra en funcionamiento el termostato de seguridad bloqueando la calefacción de la máquina.

When abnormal increase of the temperature , the safety thermostat starts working blocking the heating of the machine.

Para desbloquear la máquina proceder de la siguiente manera:

To deblock the machine proceed as follows:

1º

Parar la máquina pulsando el botón (18) STOP y poner el interruptor/selector (1) en posición OFF.

1º Stop the machine by pressing STOP (18) button and putting switch/selector (1)in position OFF.

2º

Sacar la presión si la hay con la válvula que se encuentra en la parte posterior (válvula de drenaje)

2º Release any pressure with the valve situated on rear part (drainage valve).

3º

Abrir la tapa.

3º Open the cover.

4º

Rearmar el termostato de seguridad pulsando el botón rojo RESET del mismo. Se apagará el piloto (20) rojo ALARM.

4º Reset the safety thermostat by pressing its red RESET button. The red indicator lamp ALARM (20) will switch off.

Esta máquina dispone de un elemento de bloqueo de apertura de la tapa que es accionado mediante la presión de la cuba.

This machine has an opening lock devide of the door which is actuated automatically when the tank pressure increases.

El indicador luminoso ALARM (2) anuncia que la puerta está abierta o mal cerrada, parando el funcionamiento de la máquina.

The indicator lamp ALARM (2) warns that the door is open or badly closed, stopping the manchine functioning.

Válvula de drenaje:

Drainage valve:

La válvula de drenaje (25) es para vaciar manualmente el agua de la cámara al depósito cuando hay presión.

With the drainage valve (25) the water from chamber is manually emptied to the tank when there are pressure.

Para la limpieza de las diferentes piezas de los aparatos, recomendamos los siguientes productos:

To clean the different parts of the autoclave the following products are recommended:

Limpieza del acero inoxidable: Alcohol.

Cleaning of stainless steel: Alcohol.

Limpieza de carátulas y plásticos: Alcohol con algodón o con un paño no abrasivo.

Cleaning of plastics and castings: Alcohol with a cotton duster.

Limpieza de tuberias con cal: Mezcla del 50% de salfumán y del 50% de agua.

Cleaning of pipes with lime: Solution 50% of Hydrochloric acid and 50% of water.

Es aconsejable cambiar el agua después de 50 usos ó 1 vez al mes.

It is recommended to change the water after 50 uses or once a month.

Mediante el tubo de nivel (26) se vacia el depósito anexo de agua.

Throught the level tube (26) the water tank is emptied.

Limpiar el sensor de nivel situado en el fondo de la cubeta a la derecha

POSSIBLE ERRORS:

Existen algunas condiciones de error que pueden ser causa del mal funcionamiento y que son detectables por el microprocesador que comprueba que el proceso sea correcto.

Some errors could be the reason for the faulty operation of the Autoclave. These errors are detected by the microprocessor which also checks that the process is correct:

- RTD:

Fallo en la sonda.

- RTD: Probe failure.

- FAIL:

Diferencia de más de 2ºC respecto a la consigna.

- FAIL: Difference by 2 or more centigrade degrees from the chosen one.

Revisar periódicamente el funcionamiento de la válvula de seguridad. Limpiar periódicamente el filtro de vaciado del autoclave. Éste se encuentra en la parte trasera de la cámara y es accesible sacando las 2 tapas de la máquina.

From time to time revise the functioning of the safety valve. From time to time clean the emptying filter of the autoclave. This is in the rear part of the tank and is accessible by removing the two covers of the machine.

Cambiar el filtro de aireación (21) según la utilización del mismo, siguiendo las prescripciones del fabricante.

Change the air filter (21) according to its use, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Revisar anualmente el total funcionamiento del autoclave por personal cualificado.

Annual revision of the whole function of the autoclave by qualified personnel is advisable.
