Maintenance Procedures This list shows the inspection items from the separate Inspection Results Report. See the Inspection Data Entry Procedures for details about entering the results in the separate Inspection Data Form. The inspection periods stated in these Inspection Procedures are based on four periodic inspections per year. Conduct inspection items required 3 times per year in periods 1, 2 and 4; those required 2 times per year in periods 2 and 4; and those required once per year in period 4. Check the items below before starting the inspections.

Checks 1. Check the Previous Inspection Data Inform the customer of the items planned for inspection this time and obtain the customer’s approval. (List the replacement parts.) 2. Check the Failure Log Check the failure log and the results of instrument operation since the previous inspection. 3. Power Supply a. Power supply equipment b. Power supply voltage

Changed since the instrument was installed? Check the instrument voltage range: 100 VAC or 200 VAC ± 10%

4. Exterior and Interior Appearance a. Exterior Deformation, scratches, labels b. Interior Contamination, dust, mould

No abnormalities No abnormalities

5. Operating Environment a. Corrosion Operating environment OK/NG? Check air-conditioning operation, including exhaust and dehumidification. 6. Check Operation a. Pre-inspection operation check b. Post-inspection operation check

Check the operation status before the inspection. Conduct failure correction before conducting the inspection. Check the operation status after the inspection. Attach all covers and conduct the full range of operation tests.

Inspection Data Entry Procedures 1. Introduction This data is used for the maintenance and management of the delivered instrument. It can be used to confirm changes over time and changes in characteristics from the preventative maintenance viewpoint and to conduct instrument inspections to ensure safe operation. Follow the procedure below to enter the measured values. 2. Precautions a. If the measured data values fluctuation, record the average value as the measured value. b. Any values required adjustment should be adjusted according to the appropriate JIS standards (JIS Z 4702, 4703, etc.). However, if measurements were conducted according to another standard, record the name of this standard. c. If the values set in the Inspection Data Form change due to a change in the instrument specification, enter the changed value in the form. d. If necessary, refer to TSHX-02011 Maintenance and Safety Inspection Guidelines for Mechanical Equipment. e. Regarding inspection of wire ropes, refer to Technical Information ZCHIE-6E0001 “Periodic Inspection and Lubrication of Wire Suspension Rope”. M–1

M503-E342 Supplemental Explanation –– Measurement Method a. Power supply voltage Measure with a voltmeter (RMS). If the value fluctuates over time, enter the amplitude of fluctuation. b. Radiography Radiography tube voltage, radiography time Connect an oscilloscope across the check pins on the PCB, set kV/ mAs as shown in the table, and observe the waveform. Confirm that the voltage lies within the range ±10%. Re-adjust if it is out-of-range. Radiography tube current time product At the same tube voltage, set the tube current time product shown in the table and measure the tube current time product. Confirm that the tube current time product lies within the range ±15%. Re-adjust if it is out-of-range. c. Air conditioning Collect data to confirm whether the instrument is operating under the conditions prescribed in the instrument specifications. d. Suspension wires Check for damaged or frayed parts of the wires. Check for problems at the ends. Wipe wires with a cloth to examine their state. Check that there are no differences in tensions in the two wires (one wire has stretched). Refer to Technical Information ZCHIE-6E0001 “Periodic Inspection and Lubrication of Wire Suspension Rope”. After wire rope has been used for more than 10 years, it should be replaced even if no damage is apparent. e. Column, arm, tube support unit, main unit Check that all the mounting screws are tight. Check the damage and fixing of Front/ Intermediate leaves in Collimator. f. Checking operation of all parts Operate all parts and check for abnormal noise, vibration, fluctuations in operating force, brake force, and quick stop operation. Re-adjust if any abnormality is found.
