FUTURE TRENDS INTRODUCING A NEW WAY OF FORECASTING At WGSN we’ve created a new way of forecasting trends based on our users’ feedback. Our trend forecasts – which you can now find under “Future Trends” – will be organised into four categories to align with your planning and development. Plus, all of the insight will be ready for you to put into action more than a month earlier.

ONE

THE VISION Our first look at the season – published 24 months ahead of in-store arrival – features the high level cultural influences that make up the 4 major themes of the season. These are then mapped against 6 seasonal drops to show you how our insight translates to product. WHAT’S NEW • Each Vision report will feature much more fashion-focused styling to link with the coming forecast • More trends mapped to seasonal retail drops to inform your entire planning process

FIRST VIEW To meet the different production cycles of our clients, we’ll be publishing early views into key colours, textiles, and materials and mapping them back to our Vision to give you a holistic view of the season and the tools to translate them into your products. REPORTS INCLUDE Global Colour, Regional Colour, Colour by Gender, Materials & Surface, Denim Textiles, Footwear & Accessories Solid Materials, Hardware & Details, Leather & Non-leather and Key Items (all categories)

FORECASTS Over the course of the season, we will publish more than 138 future trend reports for 20 sectors. Each of these future trends will include colour, textile, and style direction, as well as a critical path that helps you plan for specific retail drops.
