Consonants Vocalise No. 22' • This vocalise should be sung in a somewhat marcata fashion. • Other consonants and vowels may be substituted, or vowels may be sung without initial consonants. • This vocalise can qe used to practice articulating consonants at the ends of syllables. Syllables such as [hik], [hit] and [biJ] can be sung, with the final consonant being articulated on the eighth rest. • It may be helpful to practice Breathing Exercise No. 3a before singing this vocalise.
