Nordberg Primary Series Screens

Nordberg CVB-P and Ripl-Flo XH series screens are heavy-duty inclined primary screens well suited to aggregate and mining applications. The screen designs incorporate huck-bolted construction to improve load-carrying capacity and minimise the risk of fatigue loading. The top deck support frame is designed to take either perforated plate or bolted rubber panels. The Nordberg CVB-P screen range utilises grease lubricated MV mechanisms, consisting of rotating external counterweights linked via cardan shaft. The Nordberg Ripl-Flo screen range utilises the oil lubricated Ripl-Flo mechanism, consisting of a rotating eccentric shaft with additional external counterweight plates. Both the MV and Ripl-Flo mechanisms are used to create a circular screening motion. This screen series is available in 1, 2, 3 or 4 decks with many additional options available.

Nordberg Ellivar Series Screens

Nordberg Ellivar Series Screens are large inclined screens capable of handling high tonnages at high efficiency, especially at fine cut points (final sizing). This is due to their elliptical motion, which guarantees high screening efficiency by moving the material rapidly at the feed end and slowly at the discharge end. Optimum screening is also achieved by the adjustable flow/ counter-flow, amplitude and speed range characteristics. Ellivar Series Screens utilise grease lubricated MV mechanisms consisting of rotating external counterweights linked via cardan shaft. The MV mechanisms are mounted above the center of gravity to create an elliptical screening motion.

Nordberg DF-Series Screens

Nordberg Duo-Flo Series Screens are suited to the processing of primary or secondary feed material that does not require high accuracy screening. It is outstanding for scalping natural material, screening in closed circuit with a crusher, and for screening gravel, where the feed material contains a high percentage of fines. The Duo-Flo Series is available in a range of sizes. Each screen deck has 2 different sloping sections. The first section has a steep slope angle resulting in high material travel rates with low bed depths and rapid fines removal. The second section has a lower slope angle to decrease material travel rate to improve near-size material screening. The upper deck is usually used as a relief deck using large apertures and creates a vertical flow of material to the underlying deck. The Duo-Flo Series Screens utilise grease lubricated unbalanced vibratory motors to create a linear motion.

Nordberg De-watering Series Screens

Nordberg H-Series Screens are specifcally designed for de-watering and washing applications. They are available in 1 or 2 deck configurations. The single deck configuration can be setup with an uphill inclined screen deck and de-watering back wall specifically for de-watering applications. The two deck configuration can utilise the top deck as a relief or sizing deck with the bottom deck used for de-watering or sizing. The H-series screens utilise an oil lubricated mechanism, consisting of two self-synchronizing eccentric shafts with additional external counterweights to create a linear screening motion. A 40° stroke angle is used to achieve effective de-watering at high capacities. A washing system can be introduced as an option if necessary.

Nordberg TS-Series Screens

The TS-Screen Series is designed to be modular and robust with exceptional performance in a very wide range of screening applications. The decks have three different slopes, with the slope angles reducing towards the discharge end. On the first section the steep slope creates high material travel rates, which enable rapid fines removal. On the second section the slope and the material travel rate reduce, and the deck is similar to conventional inclined screening. In the third section the slope reduces further, increasing the material retention time on the screening surface to improve the removal of near-sized particles. The overall combination of the 3 different slope sections and the elliptical screening motion result in high capacity and high efficiency screening. TS Series Screens utilise grease lubricated MV mechanisms consisting of rotating external counterweights linked via cardan shaft. The MV mechanisms are mounted above the center of gravity to create an elliptical screening motion.

Nordberg MS-Series Screens

Nordberg “Banana style” Multi-Slope Screens can be used in primary, secondary and tertiary applications in both the mining and aggregate industry. The MS-Series Screens are available in both single and double deck configurations. The screen decks feature multiple slope sections where the slope angle reduces progressively towards the discharge end. The steeper slopes towards the feed end result in high material travel rates with low bed depths and rapid fines removal. The lower slope angles towards the discharge end result in reduced material travel rates and high efficiency screening of near-sized particles. These characteristics enable the multislope screens to handle large throughputs at high efficiency. Multi-Slope Screens can be economically installed and require less space than conventional screens of a comparable capacity. The Multi-Slope Screens utilise grease lubricated MV mechanisms, consisting of rotating external counterweights linked via cardan shaft. Two counter rotating MV shaft lines create a linear screening motion with a 45° stroke angle.

The construction is modular with most components being huck-bolted: the screen media support rails, cross members, feedbox, etc., can be individually replaced. The FS-Series utilises a triple shaftline MV mechanism configuration. The MV mechanisms consist of rotating external counterweights linked via cardan shaft. Each MV shaftline is geared together to produce an elliptical motion with a 45° stroke angle. The angle, size and shape of the elliptical stroke pattern can be easily adjusted. The stroke length can be as long as 3/4“ or 20 mm. FS-Series Screens operate at high “G-forces” to keep screen media apertures clear and provide accurate sizing at high feed rates.

Nordberg TY-Hummer Series Screens

TY-Hummer Series Screens are specifically designed for fine dry screening. The Hummer Screen design uses gravitational and vibrational forces to produce high material travel rates, which maximise particle separation. Concurrently, the sharp, high frequency linear motion rapidly stratifies the material and speeds the separation process. Hummer Screens are a unique design that utilises grease lubricated vibratory motors which vibrate the screen media whilst the screen body remains stationary.
