Las preposiones en Inglés pueden realizar varias funciones. Pueden unir dos frase o pueden alterar el significado del verbo y formar lo q como Phrasal verbs. EL ADJETIVO

Los adjetivos son las palabras que se utilizan para describir los nombres, normalmente van delante del sustantivo y son palabras invariab -a) los adjetivos ingleses no tienen género. En inglés se pueden utilizar el gerundio (present participle) y el participio (past participle) con función de adjetivo. TIEMPOS VERBALES (PRESENTE SIMPLE Y PRESENTE CONTINUO) Simple present tense - Presente simple: Es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar: acciones habituales que tienen lugar en el presente . Ej.: I get up at 9:00 am (Me levanto a las nueve). situaciones permanentes. Ej: Ana lives in Spain (Ana vive en España) verdades generales. Ej.: The earth goes around the sun (La tierra gira alrededor del sol) primera condicional: If you eat too many burgers, you get fat (Si comes muchas hamburgesas engordas) Forma negativa del presente simple: Sujeto + do not o don't/does not o doesn't +verbo de la acción en infinitivo + Complementos. Ej.: I do not/dont go to the gym every day (No voy al gimnasio todos los dias) Forma interrogativa del presente simple: Do/does + sujeto + verbo de la acción en infinitivo + Complementos. (¿Vas al gimnasio todos los dias? ) Present continuous - Presente continuo : tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar acciones que tienen lugar en el presente, en el en el que se está enunciando la frase. Se forma con el presente del verbo (to) be más el verbo de la acción en gerundio (Infinitivo+-ing). LOS PRONOMBRES

La diferencia entre el pronombre y el adjetivo se encuentra en la función que realizan. El pronombre sustituye al nombre y el adjetivo lo Inglés encontramos siete clases de pronombres:

Pasado simple, pasado continuo, pretérito perfecto, pretérito pluscuampe Simple past tense - Pasado simple: Es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar acciones que tuvieron lugar en el pasado. Ej.: she danced with Mike (Ella bailó con Mike) Encontramos dos tipos de pasado simple: el regular o el irregular. Para formar el pasado simple de los VERBOS REGULARES tenemos que -ed al infinitvo. Para formar el pasado simple de los VERBOS IRREGULARES no se sigue ninguna regla. Forma negativa del pasado simple: Sujeto + did not o didn´t +verbo de la acción en infinitivo + Complementos. Ej.: I did not/didn´t go to the gym yesterday (Ayer no fui al gimnasio ) Forma interrogativa del pasado simple: Did + sujeto + verbo de la acción en infinitivo + Complementos. Ej.: Did you go to the gym yesterday? (¿fuiste ayer al gimnasio?)

Past continuous - Pasado continuo : tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar acciones que tuvieron lugar en el pasado, pero en un concreto. Ej.: I was washing the dishes when Jane came in. ( Estaba lavando los platos cuando Jane entró) Se forma con el pasado del verbo (to) be (was were) más el verbo de la acción en gerundio (Infinitivo+-ing). Forma negativa del pasado continuo: Sujeto + was not o wasn´t / were not o weren´t +verbo de la acción en gerundio+ Complementos. Ej.: I was not cleaning your shoes (No estaba limpiando tus zapatos) Forma interrogativa del pasado continuo:

was/were+ Sujeto+ Verbo de la acción en gerundio+ Complementos? Ej.: were you cleaning her shoes? (¿Estabas limpiando sus zapatos?)

Present perfect - Pretérito perfecto: Tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar acciones que han tenido lugar en el pasado, pero en reciente. Se forma con el presente del verbo (to) have, has o have + el participio del verbo de la acción: Regular (Infinitivo+ed) o Irregular (tercera lista de verbos irregulares). Ej.: I have played with your sister. ( He jugado con tu hermana ). Forma negativa del Préterito Perfecto: Sujeto+ has not o hasn't /have not o haven't + Verbo de la acción en participio + Complementos. Ej.: I have not played with your sister ( No he jugado con tu hermana ) Forma interrogativa del Pretérito Perfecto: Has/Have+ Sujeto+ Verbo de la acción en participio+ Complementos.

Ej.: Have you played with my sister? ( ¿has jugado con mi hermana? Past perfect - Pretérito pluscuamperfecto: Expresa acciones que han tenido lugar en el pasado, pero en un pasado menos reciente qu expresa en el Present Perfect. Se forma con el verbo (to) have en pasado, had + el participio del verbo de la acción: Regular (Infinitivo+ed) o Irregular (tercera columna verbos irregulares). Ej: I had played with your sister. ( Yo había jugado con tu hermana ) Forma negativa del pretérito pluscuamperfecto: Sujeto+ had not/hadn't+ Verbo de la acción en participio+ Complementos. Ej.:I had not played with your sister (No había jugado con tu hermana ) Forma interrogativa del pretérito pluscuamperfecto: Had+ Sujeto+ Verbo de la acción en participio+ Complementos. Ej.: Had you played with my sister?

TIEMPOS VERBALES III (FUTURO SIMPLE, FUTURO PRÓXIMO )

Futuro simple , futuro próximo

Simple future - futuro simple: Es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar acciones que tendrán lugar en un futuro, sin importar momento. Se forma con la partícula will+ el infinitivo del verbo de la acción sin el (to). Ej.: I will go to the office (Iré a la oficina) Forma negativa del futuro simple: Sujeto+ will not/won't+ Verbo de la acción en infinitivo+ Complementos. Ej.: I won´t go to the office (No iré a la oficina) Forma interrogativa del futuro simple: Will+ Sujeto+ Verbo de la acción en infinitivo+ Complementos. Ej.: Will you go to the office? ( ¿irás a la oficina? )

Near future - futuro próximo : tiempo verbal que se utiliza para expresar acciones que van a tener lugar en el futuro, pero se trata de cercano al momento en el que se habla. Se forma con el verbo (to) be en presente (is o are), seguido de GOING TO+ el infinitivo del verb Ej.: I am going to go the office tomorrow ( Voy a ir a la oficina mañana ) Forma negativa del futuro próximo: Sujeto+ is not o isn't/ are not o aren't+ Going to+ Verbo de la acción en infinitivo+ Complementos. Ej.: I am not going to go to the office tomorrow ( No voy a ir a la oficina mañana ) Forma interrogativa del futuro próximo: Is/are+ Sujeto+ Going to+ Verbo de la acción en infinitivo+ Complementos?. Ej.: Are you going to go to the office tomorrow? (¿Vas a ir mañana a la oficina?)

LA VOZ PASIVA La voz pasiva en Inglés se forma con el verbo 'to be' más el participio pasado. Ej.: I was invited to her birthday party. El complemento de la oración activa pasa a sujeto de la pasiva . Para decir quién hacía la acción en la voz pasiva se usa 'by' Ej.: This cake was made by my mother

Formas del verbo en pasiva

Presente simple: am/are/is + participio pasado...Italian is spoken here Presente continuo: am/are/is being + participio pasado...Your hair is being brushed Futuro: will be + participio pasado...Exams will be corrected by next week Futuro próximo: am/are/is going to be + participio pasado... EL IMPERATIVO El imperativo se usa para dar órdenes e instrucciones. Ej.: Shut up! ( ¡Cállate, callaros! ) Wake up ( ¡despierta, despertad! ) El imperativo tiene una sola persona para singular y plural Para las órdenes negativas utilizamos: Don't + verbo. Ej.: Dont do that! ( ¡No hagas eso / No hagáis eso! ), Dont open the door! (¡ No abras la puerta / abráis la puerta! ) Para dar mayor enfasis a la frase podemos utilizar do antes del imperativo : Ej.: Do enjoy yourselves! ( ¡diviertíos! )

CONDICIONALES Tipo I a) if + simple present + simple present ( Se usa para expresar verdades científicas. ) b) if + simple present + simple future . Ej.: If you dont study, you won´t pass your exams. . ( Si no estudias, no aprobarás tus exámenes ) c) imperative + or / and + simple future ( Se usa para expresar amenazas y promesas). Ej,: Finish your food and we will go to the park ( Termina tu comida e iremos al parque ) d) imperative + if / in case + simple present. Ej.: Call me in case you need help (Llámame en caso de que necesites ayuda ) Tipo II if + simple past + simple conditional. Ej.: If i were rich, I would go to Australia (Si fuera rico, iría a Australia ) Tipo III if + past perfect + conditional perfect

Ej.: If i had known that you were not at home, I would not have gone to your house.( Si hubiese sabido que no estabas en casa, no habrí En algunos casos se pueden construir condicionales sin el if:

unless: Se puede emplear unless con el significado de "if not" ( si no) .Ej.:Unless you work harder, you will fail your exams. ( a menos qu suspenderás tus exámenes ) Providing that: Se puede emplear con el significado de "siempre que". Ej.:Providing that you come back home with your friends, I will let party . ( Siempre que vuelvas a casa con tus amigos, te dejaré ir a la fiesta ) In case: significa "en caso que", "por si acaso".Ej.: I´d better buy more sugar in case we decide to make the cake ( Compraré más azuca decidamos hacer el pastel )

VERBOS MODALES Los verbos modales en Inglés son: can, could, may, might, will, would, should and must .

Características de los verbos modales

Se usan antes de los infinitivos de otros verbos y muestran el grado de seguridad, obligación, etc. de las acciones que se llevan a cabo. No llevan 's' en la 3º persona del singular. Ej. She must help me ( Ella debe de ayudarme ) después del verbo modal usamos el infinitivo sin el 'to'. Ej. You must go to the doctor (Debes ir al médico ) Se usan para describir el grado de certeza: seguro, probable, posible o imposible y para expresar la obligación y la libertad de acción. Grados de Certeza: Certeza total: must, mustn't, will, won't, can, can't. Probabilidad, posibilidad: Should, shouldn't, may, may not Débil probabilidad o posibilidad: might, might not, could, couldn't Condicionalidad o posibilidad: Would, wouldn't, could, couldn't.
