Worsted weight / #4 yarn in colors Yellow and Blue DK weight / #3 yarn in colors Yellow, Purple, White, and Green 3.25 and 2.75 mm hooks Fiber fill stuffing Yarn needle Stitch marker (2) 7 mm safety eyes Chenille stem or floral wire

Measurements: 6 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide

Notes: -The ( ) at the end of each round states the total number of stitches that should be completed for that round. -Tension is not critical for this project. You can use any yarn to make this amigurumi. For example, if you use a larger hook and a suitable yarn, the amigurumi will be bigger while maintaining the same proportions.

Vase: with 3.25 mm hook, and worsted weight yellow yarn, ch 2 Beginning at the bottom of the pot Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 total sts) Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12 total sts) Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rpt from * until end of rnd (18 total sts) Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (24 total sts)

Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (30 total sts) Rnd 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (36 total sts) Rnd 7: working in BLO, Sc in each st around (36 total sts) Rnd 8: sc in each st around (36 total sts) Rnd 9: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (42 total sts) Rnd 10-16: sc in each st around (42 total sts) Rnd 17: *sc2tog, sc in next 5 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (36 total sts) Rnd 18: *sc in next 2 sts, sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (30 total sts) Rnd 19: *sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (24 total sts) Do not cut yarn. Rnd 20: Place water inside vase and line up stitches from rnd 19 of vase and rnd 4 of the water. With the yarn used to make the vase, sc around the vase working in both loops of both pieces to join them together (24 total sts) Rnd 21-22: sc in each st around (24 total sts) Rnd 23: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (30 total sts) Rnd 24-25: sc in each st around (30 total sts) Rnd 26: sl st in each st around (30 total sts) Finish off and weave in ends. Water: with 3.25 mm hook, and worsted weight blue yarn, ch 2 Rnd 1: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 total sts) Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12 total sts) Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rpt from * until end of rnd (18 total sts) Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (24 total sts) Finish off and weave in ends. Pansy: with 2.75 mm hook and DK weight yellow yarn Rnd 1: make 12 sc sts in magic circle (12 total sts) Rnd 2: change to purple yarn, working in BLO, sc in next st, *ch 4, skip next st, sc in next st, rpt from * 1 more time, turn Rnd 3: ch 1, sc in next st, *8 dc in next ch-4 space, sc in next sc st, rpt from * 1 more time, turn (19 total sts) Rnd 4: ch 1, sc in next st, 1 sc + 1 hdc in next st, 1 hdc + 1 dc in next st, 1 dc + 1 tr in next st, 2 tr in next 5 sts, ch 3, sc in next sc st, ch 3, Page 3

2 tr in next 5 sts, 1 tr + 1 dc in next st, 1 dc + 1 hdc in next st, 1 hdc + 1 sc in next st, sc in next st Now you will be working in the front loop stitches from round 1 beginning in the next unworked stitch.

Rnd 5: working in FLO, 2 dc in next st, sc in next st, 2 dc in next st, 2 tr in next st, 2 dc in next st, sc in next st, 2 dc in next st, 2 tr in next st, 2 dc in next st, sc in next st, 2 dc in next st, 2 tr in next st, join round with a sl st in first dc st (21 total sts) Finish off and weave in ends. Rnd 6: join white yarn in next sc st, ch 3, 2 tr in next 6 sts, ch 3, sl st in next sc st, *ch 3, 2 dc in next 2 sts, 2 tr in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next 2 sts, ch 3, sl st in next sc st, rpt from * 1 more time Finish off and weave in ends. Stem: with 2.75 mm hook and DK weight green yarn Rnd 1: join green yarn in a back loop from rnd 1 of the Pansy , working in BLO including the 3 back loops that have already been worked in, sc in each st around (12 total sts)

Rnd 2: sc in each st around (12 total sts) Rnd 3: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (9 total sts) Rnd 4: sc in each st around (9 total sts) Begin to stuff with fiber fill. Rnd 5: *sc2tog, sc in next st, rpt from * until end of rnd (6 total sts) Rnd 6-14: sc in each st around (6 total sts) Finish stuffing with fiber fill. Insert floral wire in stem, finish off and weave in ends. Bend the head of the pansy slightly forward. See pictures 3 and 4. Make a total of 3 pansy Page 4

flowers with stems. For the last stem I added 3 more rounds at the end to make it slightly taller than the other two.

Make a total of 10 leaves. Attach 3 leaves on each stem and 4 leaves on the tallest stem. See pictures 3 and 4. Arrange pansies in vase. See pictures 6 and 7 (back of vase).
