Activar pre-saberes relacionados a las clases de IO, PCP. Diseñar rutas de distribución eficientes.

Este caso fue tomado del libro LOGISTICA, ADMON DE LA CADENA DE SUMINISTRO DE R BALLOU y modificado para servir de base de discusión.

_______________________________________________________________________________ Regal Metals fabrica mamparas de acero para lavabo destinadas a edificios comerciales. Una vez a la semana, los pedidos (X = 460, Y = 720) se acumulan en la planta de Toledo, Ohto, para su distribución a los sitios de construcción. La empresa posee cinco camiones con una capacidad de carga de 40,000 Ibs (18 toneladas) cada uno. Para una semana en particular, tienen que hacer los siguientes repartos:

Los camiones se tienen que programar de tal manera que todos los pedidos de la semana se envíen de una vez, comenzando no más pronto que las 7:00 a.m. en Toledo, que las capacidades de los camiones no se excedan y que todos los camiones regresen a la planta de Toledo cuando la ruta se haya completado. Las restricciones adicionales son que todos los repartos tengan que hacerse entre las 7:00 a.m. y las 6:00 p.m., que los conductores tengan un descanso de una hora para comer, después de las 12 del mediodía, y una pausa en la noche (de 12 horas), después de las 7:00 p.m., y que haya una barrera de viaje impuesta en la región de los Grandes Lagos. La velocidad promedio de conducción es de 50 millas por hora, y el tiempo para descargar en cada parada es de 30 minutos. Las distancias de las carreteras se estiman que son 21% más largas que si fueran en línea recta, distancias coordenadas por computadora. Los costos de conductor y camión son de $1.30 por milla. Cuando no están viajando, los conductores son asignados a otros trabajos en la planta.

Establece la ruta óptima. Elabora el Arena.
