You will hear five different teenagers talking about relationships. Listen and identify which statement best corresponds to each speaker. There are three extra statements. 01│07

I had a fight with my friend because she was more popular than me. A reunion didn’t go as I had anticipated. Being treated differently to others has caused me problems. I was to blame for breaking up a good friendship. We have a good relationship now, although it wasn’t always the case. I have a different opinion to most people I know. I discuss different things with different people. I have nothing to hide from my family.

Listen again and decide if the sentences are true (T) or false (F).

Speaker 1 was surprised to see her friend in the same class as her. Speaker 2’s relationship with his brother has changed more than once. Speaker 3 gets angry with her dad because of their differences of opinion. Speaker 4 is upset that he has been criticised by his new boss unfairly. Speaker 5 has never been interested in having lots of online friends.
