Speedy was born _____ Tuesday May 4th ______ Brooklyn, New York ______ 6 o’clock ______ the afternoon. He was born _____ 2012 _____ the spring. He was last seen ______ school where he was teaching addition to first graders. He always teaches math _____ Mondays ______ 9 o’clock. But suddenly _____ the middle of the lesson Speedy vanished. We were still searching for clues _____ midnight! Do you think Speedy was kidnapped or dognapped and that he is no longer _____ Brooklyn? Many dogs have been kidnapped ______ the USA recently and we are worried.

3 Well, the plot thickens. We thought it would be easy to locate missing teacher dog, Speedy, who was last seen ______ the Dr. Seuss Middle school ____ Monday morning ______ 9:30. But we were wrong! We stopped looking for him _____ midnight. Then ______ the morning we started searching again. We looked everywhere. He wasn’t ______ home. He wasn’t ______ the garden. He is always home _______ his birthday and that was in 2 days- ______ Thursday May 6th. Yes, he was born _____ the spring. We took a break ______ noon for lunch and stopped to put on our thinking caps. If he wasn’t _____ Brooklyn where could he be? What was he doing _____ the moment? Then I remembered that he liked to do magic tricks. ______ 2013 he had gone to magic school. He knew that children were tired _____ the morning, so that could vanish easily. We found him early _____ the evening _____ his best friend’s house. They were preparing for his birthday party _____ Thursday. Mystery solved!

We celebrate his birthday _____ the summer. ______ Deputy Dog’s second birthday, he became my official assistant. We work ______ the weekends- especially _____ the afternoon. We have found many lost animals and returned them to their owners.
