1st SCENE (1º ESCENA): CEIP SAN PEDRO APÓSTOL (LA MOJONERA)

SONG (CANCIÓN): THE CIRCLE OF LIFE Giraffe: There he is! Elephant: There’s the New Prince! Everyone: Welcome, Prince Simba! Narrator: They watched in silence as Rafiki raised the lion cub high in the air. Mufasa: Look Simba! Everything the light touches is our Kingdom. Simba: And this’ll all be mine? Mufasa: Everything the light touches. Simba: What’s about that shadow place? Mufasa: That’s beyond our borders. You must never go there. Simba: Ohh!! Mufasa: Remember, a good king must repect all creatures, for we exist together in the great Circle of Life. Narrator: Later that day Simba met his uncle, Scar. Simba: Hey, uncle Scar! Guess what? Scar: I despise guessing games. Simba: I’m gonna be king of Pride Rock. Scar: Even beyond the northern border? Simba: Well, no. My father has forbidden me to go there. Scar: Quite right. Only the bravest lions go there. An elephant graveyard is no place for a young prince. Oops! Narrator: Simba hurried away to find his best friend, Nala. Simba: Hey Nala! Nala: Hey Simba! Simba: Come on. I just heard about the great place. 2

Nala: Mom, can I go with Simba? Nala’s mother: What do you think, Sarabi? Nala and Simba: Please. Sarabi: Ok, but Zazu goes with you.

2nd SCENE (2º ESCENA): CPR AVDA. HUBERT MEERSMANS (ALQUIFE)

SONG (CANCIÓN): I JUST CAN’T WAIT TO BE KING Narrador: Simba y Nala perdieron a Zazu por el camino y llegaron a la zona oscura. Nala: Este sitio da mucho miedo, ¿dónde estamos? Simba: Es un cementerio de elefantes. Zazu: ¡Debéis dejar este lugar inmediatamente! Estáis en peligro. Simba: ¿Peligro? ¡Ja! Mira como me río en la cara del peligro. Narrador:

rodeándolos, riéndose maliciosamente. Shenzi (hiena 1): ¡Mirad qué tenemos aquí, amigos! Banzi (hiena 2): Eres el hijo de Mufasa. Simba: No puedes hacerme nada. Zazu: Tecnicamente, ellos sí que pueden. ¡Mira el cielo! ¡Es hora de marcharse! Ed (hiena 3): ¿Por qué tanta prisa? Narrador: Simba intentó defenderse con un rugido un poco ridículo. Cuando las tres hienas iban a atacarlo, Mufasa apareció y defendió a su hijo del ataque. Hienas: Los sentimos muchísimo. Mufasa: Si os volvéis a acercar a mi hijo alguna vez, os las veréis conmigo. Simba: ¿Papá? Mufasa: Me has desobedecido. Simba: Lo siento mucho. Mufasa: ¡Nos vamos a casa!

Narrador: Tan pronto como llegaron a casa, Mufasa habló con su hijo Simba de lo sucedido. Mufasa: Simba, estoy muy decepcionado. Simba: Tan solo intentaba ser tan valiente como tú, papá. Mufasa: Ser valiente no significa buscar problemas. Simba: Es verdad, papá. Lo siento mucho. Mufasa: Mira las estrellas. Desde ahí arriba los reyes del pasado nos están mirando y cuidando. Tan solo recuerda que ellos estarán siempre ahí para guiarte y así será. Simba: Lo recordaré. Narrador: Mientras, Scar estaba planeando un plan en contra de Mufasa y Simba. Scar: Espera aquí. Tu padre tiene una sorpresa maravillosa para ti. Simba: ¿Qué sorpresa es? Venga tío Scar, ¡dímelo! Scar: No, no, no. Esto es solamente para tu padre y para ti. Shenzi (hiena 1): Estoy realmente hambriento. Benzi (hiena 2): ¿Podemos comer algo? Ed (hiena 3): No. Debemos esperar a la señal de Scar. Shenzi (hiena 1): Allí está. ¡Vamos! Narrador: Scar realizó la señal y las hienas comenzaron una estampida. Mufasa: ¡Simba! ¡Ya voy a rescatarte! Narrador: El rey descendió entre las enormes rocas y rescató a su hijo, pero él no pudo salvarse. Mufasa: Scar, ¡ayúdame! Scar: Larga vida al rey. Narrador: Scar empujó a Mufasa y esté cayó al vacío. Simba: Padre, ¡vamos! Debemos irnos a casa.

Scar: ¿Qué has hecho? Esto es por tu culpa. El rey está muerto y tú nunca deberás enseñar tu cara en la roca del orgullo. Huye y no vuelvas nunca. Hienas: Si vuelves alguna vez, te mataremos. Scar: Yo seré el nuevo rey. Asumo el trono.

3rd SCENE (3º ESCENA): CEIP SAN PEDRO APÓSTOL (LA MOJONERA)

SONG (CANCIÓN): HAKUNA MATATA Pumbaa: You nearly died. We saved you. Simba: Thank you for your help, but it doesn’t matter. I’ve nowhere to go. Timon: Why not stay with us? Put your past behind you. Remember! Hakuna Matata. It means “no worries”. That’s the way we live. Simba: Ok. I’ll go with you. I’m so hungry I could eat a whole zebra. Timon: You must eat our food. Look! (They eat insects) Pumbaa: This is the great life. No rules, no responsabilities, no worries. Well? Simba: Well. Hakuna Matata. Pumbaa: I ate like a pig. Simba: You’re a pig, Pumbaa. Pumbaa: Oh. Right. Look at there. What are they? (They look at the sky). Timon: They’re fireflies. Pumbaa: Simba, what do you think? Simba: Somebody once told me that the great kings of the past are up there watching over us. Pumbaa: Who told you something like that? Narrator: Many years later, deep in a cave, Rafiki stared at a picture of a lion. Rafiki: It’s time. Simba? He’s alive?

4th SCENE (4º ESCENA): CPR AVDA. HUBERT MEERSMANS (ALQUIFE)

SONG (CANCIÓN): IN THE JUNGLE Timón: Pumbaa, ¿qué pasa? Pumba: Ella iba a comerme. Narrador: Simba rescató a Pumbaa de un león muy hambriento. ¡Era Nala! Los dos amigos estaban muy emocionados de volver a verse. Simba: ¿Nala? Nala: ¿Quién eres tú? Simba: Soy yo. Simba. Nala: ¿Dónde has estado? Simba: ¡Es fabuloso volver a verte! Timón, esta es Nala. Es mi mejor amiga. Pumbaa, esta es Nala. Pumbaa: Encantado de conocerte. Nala: Contigo vivo, Scar ya no tiene el derecho al trono. Simba: No puedo volver. No merezco ser un rey. Nala: Si puedes serlo. Te he echado muchísimo de menos. Simba: Yo también a ti.

5th SCENE (5º ESCENA): CEIP SAN PEDRO APÓSTOL (LA MOJONERA)

SONG (CANCIÓN): CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT? Narrator: That night Simba lay by a stream thinking. He heard a noise and looked up. Rafiki: Come with me. I’ll take you to your father. Mufasa’s voice: Simba. You must take your place in the Circle of Life. You are my son and the one true king. Rafiki: Where are you going? Simba: I’m going back. Timon: We’re gonna fight your uncle. Simba: Yes Timon. This is my home. Sarabi: Scar, there is no food. We must leave the Pride Rock. Scar: We’re not going anywhere. Sarabi: You have sentenced us to death. Scar: I am the king. I can do whatever I want. Sarabi: Simba? You’re alive? Scar: Simba. I’m a little surprised to see you… Nala: Simba is the rightful king. Simba: The choise is yours Scar. Either step down or fight. Scar: Oh, must this all end in violence? Tell them who is responsible for Mufasa’s death. Simba: I am. Sarabi: It’s not true. Simba: It’s true. Scar: You see? He admits it! Murderer! Simba: No! It was an accident. Scar: If it weren’t for you, Mufasa would be alive. You’re guilty. Simba: No, I’m not a murderer. 9

Narrator: They started fighting. Scar: This is my little secret. I killed Mufasa. Simba: Murderer! Tell them the truth. Scar: I did it. I killed Mufasa. Narrator: Simba was victorious! One dawn the animals and birds made their way again to the foot of Pride Rock. Watched by the lions, Pumbaa and Timon, Rafiki picked up a tiny cub. He showed the new Prince – the son of King Simba and Queen Nala – to the cheering crowd below.
