STAGE 1 TECHNOLOGY AND ITS EFFECTS ON ENVIRONMENT During the last years we have seen how technological advances have negatively impacted the environment, since the activities we carry out often bring pollution in many ways, especially in the form of waste and air pollution that end up affecting our natural resources. We can say that the bigger, more populated and more developed the city is, more pollution it leaves. For example, the increase in vehicular traffic and the burning of large masses of vegetation results in polluted air, an increase in carbon dioxide that affects the increase in greenhouse gases and that also threatens the health of the population. But technology also brings positive things to the environment, such as recycling, the development of new forms of energy and systems that allow us to be more friendly to the environment, of course, all this has not yet been able to overcome the negative impact it represents. If we do not change the usual technologies for cleaner technologies, we will end up with our most precious resources. Español Durante los últimos años hemos visto como los avances tecnológicos han impactado negativamente en el medio ambiente, ya que las actividades que realizamos diariamente dejan contaminación de muchas formas, especialmente en forma de desechos y contaminación del aire que terminan afectando nuestros recursos naturales. Podemos decir que entre más grande, más poblada y más desarrollada es la ciudad, más contaminación deja. Por ejemplo, el aumento del tráfico vehicular y la quema de grandes masas de vegetación da como resultado un aire contaminado, un aumento de dióxido de carbono que incide en el aumento de gases efecto invernadero y que además atenta contra la salud de la población. Pero la tecnología también le aporta cosas positivas al medio ambiente, como el reciclaje, el desarrollo de nuevas formas de energía y sistemas que permitan ser más amigable con el medio ambiente, claro, todo esto aún no ha podido superar el impacto negativo que representa.

Si nosotros no cambiamos las tecnologías de siempre por tecnologías más limpias, vamos a terminar con nuestros recursos más preciados.
