Operation Jubilee: Dieppe 1942 Addenda as of 10/19/2010 Clarifications Assembling the map. Cut the map sheet into two equal halves, along the dark border separating the map areas. Position the two pieces so that the hexrows in the central map overlap. The assembled map should measure @ 17” x 42”. German unit types. German unit type symbols have no effect on play, except for: 1) the movement restrictions on coastal units. 2) Ability of anti-tank units to hit CW armor. During set up, place German units randomly by their letter codes, without regard to unit type. German movement arrows. It is sometimes not clear to which German position a movement arrow points. To clarify, a destination position is never more than three hexes away from the arrow pointing to it. Follow the direction of the arrow to the German position within three hexes and nearest to the direction the arrow is pointing. For example, the primary arrow in 1127 points to 1024. German Fire Priority. The sixth priority in the German Fire Priority sequence applies to CW units in Beach landing Boxes as well as hexes. That is, when checking Priority #6 a CW unit in a beach landing box in the field of fire of a firing German unit is eligible to become disrupted. Map Corrections Terrain Effects Chart: Clear terrain should read “Yes” for CW tank units. Hex 0633 should have a high priority movement arrow pointing toward hex 0432. Hex 0228 is prohibited to movement. Hex 0530 should have a green fire dot. Unit Placement Corrections CW infantry unit 3/RHL/4 should enter on turn 3, not 1. CW infantry unit 4/RR/4 should be placed in Beach Landing Box B1, not B2. CW infantry unit 4/SS/6 should be placed in Beach Landing Box G3, not G1.
