The amangements have been deliberately kept simple.and the ranges of atl instruments have been kept wefl within me capfilities of the young sfudentl. Below are some suggestions as to the varied uses of this book.

IN CLASS 1. use as solo

material, having everyone play the solo part in unison.

2. Use as Ensemble

Ensemble.

material, dividing the parts among the class to form a complete IN BAND

1. use as solo

material, having e-veryone play the solo part in unison.

2. Use as Ensemble materia,l, assigning one (or more) section of the Band the SoIo, Duet, and rbio parts, and adding the Bass-euartet and the percussion parts.

Ex.

Divide the cor.nets inb solo, Due! and rbio parts. Add the Bass-euartet part of the Bass Clef instruments and also the entirepercussionparttoform a large Ensemble.
