Demonstrative adjectives They are used to indicate the proximity or distance of the objects and they are four forms: THIS, THAT, THESE and THOSE. They do not distinguish whether the noun is feminine or masculine. They are often used with the location words here and there.

Demonstrative pronouns The demonstrative pronouns are the same as the adjectives: THIS, THAT, THESE and THOSE, only that its use varies: the pronoun substitutes the subject while the adjective complements the subject.
