GRULLA CRANE En coautoría con Daniel Naranjo Exigencia 1 Difficulty Técnica 1 Technicat: +++ lnlerpretativa 1Ar1istic: ++++ Interpretación favorita del autor: ' Papel Sirgo' (en honor a Manuel Sirgo a quien se le ocurrió la Idea de este versátil material). Consiste en papel seda de buena calidad, pincelado con cola vlnllica (base de Acetato de Polivinllo) sobre un nylon para que no se pegue y luego secado al aire. Son muy importantes las terminaciones pincelando con agua de a pequenas partes y dejando secar antes de humedecer la siguiente. Este material asi terminado tiene la firmeza suficiente para que la grulla se pose sobre una sóla pata y a su vez las alas quedarán traslúcidas. Resultados menos espectaculares, pero mayor facilidad de interpretación, se obtienen con ' papel sánwich' seda-metal. Este es el único modelo en coautor/a de este libro. Comenzó como un ejercicio para agregarle algunos adornos a la grulla de Daniel Naranjo y teminó siendo un modelo con caracteristicas propias. Quedo tranquilo en relación con mi principal preocupación en esta composición que fue el ser muy respetuoso con la composición original de Daniel.

Aulhor's favourite interpreta/ion: ' Sirgo paper• (in honour of Manuel Sirgo who came up with /he idea of this versali/e medium), made with a good quality /issue paper painled with white glue (based on Po/yvinyl Acetato) laid on a nylon sheet as a non-sttck surface and then air dried. The finishing is very impor1ant. Apply water with a paint brush on sma/1 areas (say. two toes), and /et it dry befare wetting the next part. With this treatment, the medium is rigid enough to hold the Crane on one teg, yet elso give it translucent wings. Less spectacular results, a/beit with greater ease of fotding, are obtained with tissue-foit paper. This is the only co-authored model ln the book. 1t started as an exercise to add some detaits to Daniel Naranjo's crane and ended up as a model in its own right. 1was intent on respecting the spirit of Daniel's original model, but now feel content that 1ha ve achieved this.
