Pressure relief General For installation in walls to the fire protected enclosure to allow the excess air to exit the room, when INERGEN is released in the area. The relief incorporates a closing mechanism that provides a seal against the entry of flames and smoke. This is achieved by the use of a special intumescent material that swells at high temperatures. The material has been tested by Warrington Fire Research and can withstand fire for more than 60 minutes. To be installed with the intumescent material towards the unprotected enclosure, flush with the wall and the butterfly valve axis in vertical position.
