OmniPCX Enterprise Processing units - MEX Plugged into slot 0 of an expansion rack  Insures the control of its remote rack  Up to 2 expansion racks can be connected on a main rack Connected to the main rack (GD) through a HSL link  16 Mbits/s link (5 meter shield cable maximum)  Using HSL daughter boards The MEX board DSP0 receives from the DSP0 of the GD the switching information A virtual GPA is also associated to each MEX board
