He started swim when he was 7 years old because he was diagnosed with ADHD His abilities was developed whe he was a child, it only took 3 years.

He practised a lot, he could swim for 3-4 hours without rest.

Michael Phelps When he had 10 years old, won a national record and also obtained the clasification for the Olympic games in Sidney.

He was born in Towson, Maryland on June 30, 1985

He won 23 gold medals during his participation in 4 olympic games.

Meaning: A modal is a type of auxiliary (helping) verb that is used to express: ability, possibility, permission or obligation. Modal phrases (or semi-modals) are used to express the same things as modals, but are a combination of auxiliary verbs and the preposition to.

Use: Modals are used to talk about advice (should, should not, ought, ought not, had better, had better not), likelihood (should, should not, ought, ought not), necessity (must, must not, have to, have got to), speculation(may, may not, might, might not, could), conclusions(must, have to, have got to, can not, could not), expectation (be supposed to, be to), and suggestions (could, might).
