Measuring the Piping Progress
Dia Inch unit of Measure is used to measure the progress of the Piping. The weld joint of the pipe size is converted to the equivalent Dia Inch of welding
Examples: 1. One welding joint of 8 inch diameter pipe = 8 Dia Inch 2. Two welding joints of 12 inch diameter pipe = 24 Dia Inch
Measuring the Piping Progress
Welding Control System- WCS
UO1 Contractor (GS) using WCS to monitor the dia inch of all piping works at Shop as well as field. WCS shall be updated on daily basis by contractor. Status of individual line by service, area etc., shall be checked in WCS database and it shall be saved in excel sheet. Below table (excel) is extracted from WCS. Total Dia-Inch Welded Dia

Interface Test Package - ITP Each Interface Test Package (ITP) between Contractors will be identified by unique ITP number. Only one unique ITP will be assigned for verification of related activity to close interface point. The minimum document to close interface point shall be included in ITP. In some case, one ITP can cover multi-ful IPs.
Interface Test Package - ITP Issued Interface PKG numbers shall not be reused or reassigned. IPs shall be numbered according to the following format.
Interface Test Package - ITP The IP package including inspection reports approved by Company required from Contractor A&B is as follows,
Monitor The Construction Status of Piping.
WCS status Total Piping Construction status Interface Test Package (ITP) status
All the above status must be known before proceeding with hydrotest/pneumatic of piping. Same time Company can check, whether contractor can meet the IP testing schedule or not. All the above information's shall be provided by Contractor to Company on weekly/daily basis.
