1. Re-applying for Positions, Redundancies and Compensations

Action By

The Hong Kong employees have felt uneasy and insecure about reapplying for their positions in the company, so many of them have been looking for new jobs, especially from the HR and Sales Departments, this situation has been affecting productivity till now. Taking into account these serious problems, we all agreed that three RC years old workers in the company will not re-apply for positions, but they will be retrain to handle the new computer system, but if there are workers with less of three years must re-apply to stay in company. CC In the case of workers in retirement age will receive full benefits according to law.

2. English Language Skills

The management found that English skills of staff are not good but have not submitted a training plan or strategy to finance English courses. The company is convinced that all its staff must improve English skills so will sign an agreement with an important Language College, Employees will sign a compromise to have class twice a week after work and part of the cost will be pay for them.

We discussed many of the Decker Group new decisions and how theses have produced dissatisfaction and discomfort in the staff that not only involving company organization but going against Chinese customs of life like informal work atmosphere. After much discussion, we agreed that 40 percent of the CC management jobs will be given to Chinese Staff after an evaluation, the employees aspiring to these charges should show a good performance in the company and own an excellent English level. In addition to the training to handle the new computer system the staff will be retrain to know the company goals and the strategies to achieve them, also they will receive more information about Australian films or new productions to introduce in China and Asian CC Market. The Restaurant for the staff will prepare Chinese and Australian dishes everyday and evaluate the preferences of employees constantly to see what kind of food should cook for them.
