Passthreadend,frominside,throughsmallholein rimof bobbin. r Placebobbinon spindleand pushit to the right. r Holdingthread end, step on speedcontrollerto run machineuntil desired amount of thread is wound.(Windingstops automaticallyonce bobbin isfull.) o Cutthread;pushbobbinto the leftand removeit fromspindle. o Trimthreadend from top of bobbin. . Return hand wheel disc to sewing positionby pressingon side opposite indent.

Pull4" (10cm)of threadfromreplacement bobbin and insert bobbin into case,asshown. 2. Holdingbobbinin place,guids thread into notch(1),and then into notch(2).

Threading the Machine Your sewing machine is easily threaded.Tensiondiscs, guides and take-up lever have been designed as internalparts,eliminatingmany extra threadingsteps.The clear threadingpath helps you avoid threadingerrors. To thread your machine correctly,simply follow the steps below: r Raise presser foot lifter. a a a a a

Raise needle to its highest position by turning hand wheel toward you. Place spool of thread on spool pin (1). Slide spool cap (2) firmly over the rim of the spool to preventthread tangling. Snap thread into thread guide post (3). Following arrows, guide thread into auto tension channel (4) down to needle and firmly pull thread. Thread needlefrom front to back.

Raisingthe Bobbin Thread Once the needlehas beenthreadedand the bobbinplacedin the bobbincase,the bobbin threadmustbe broughtup throughthe holein the needleplate.
