6.2 Troubleshooting Symptom

Solution

1. The system can’t power on.

1)Check power connections, e.g. power cord connection on the rear panel; 2)Check the fuse: if it is burnt due to mains fluctuation, use spare fuse for replacement. 1) Switch off the system, and check probe connection. 2) Check whether the probe knock is broken, so you can’t connect it tightly. 3) Check whether you use the right version probe, even the probe model is right. 1) Adjust the LCD monitor position for a better viewing angle; 2) Change a place, socket for a stable voltage; 3) Adjust the image parameters, e.g. Gain, Dynamic range. 1)Select the OB application before scanning.

2. When starting the system, the monitor has signal but no ultrasound image.

3.The whole system image quality is not good.

4.No OB calculation package menu. 5. PRINT-key doesn’t work.

6.The External monitor doesn’t work. 7.CFM or PW Doppler image has noise. 8. Image has interference.

9.The gray scale is S- twisted in the image area. 10.The date and time on the screen is not correct.

1) Check if the approved printer is connected; 2) Check if the printer power is on; 3) Check printer connection; 4) Check printer setting in system setup. (Refer to Chapter 3) 1) Check the monitor connections; 2) Check if the monitor power is on and is set up correctly. 1) Adjust CFM or PW gain value properly; 2) Check if there is appliance or equipment resulting in strong electromagnetic interference; 1) Change a room to avoid interference source; 2) Use separate power outlet; 3) Perform good ground protection 1) Adjust the power supply to normal voltage or use a voltage stabilizer 2) Press Setup-key to display General Setting screen, and correct time and date.
